We had a blast! - Awesome time on the water! We all caught fish and had a great time. Tony was a great captain and helper on the water. We’d definitely go back!

Great day of Dorado fishing - My friend and I had a great 5 hour morning fishing trip with Captain Ronnie. Juan Carlos was a pleasure to deal with and took care of all of the logistics, the price was fair. Once we got on the panga the fun began. Ronnie was setting up the gear before we got to the turn, and we even spotted a Marlin as we were going out, which we tried to get but couldn't hook it. Then we spent the rest the the morning talking and catching several Dorado. I can't wait to go out with them next trip to Cabo.

Great experience, great price - Wonderful experience even despite sea sickness. Captain Pedro was super friendly and genuinely focused on helping us hook dinner--- and we did-- a beautiful 12 lb Maui. He prepared our catch for cooking, which was on the table at Captain Tony's restaurant in 40 minutes. JC, who coordinates everything especially took care of us when unexpected weather conditions prevented our driver from picking us up. JC LITERALLY went the extra mile(s), and quite a few, for us to ensure we were taken care of right away. You don't need to pay $600 for a great, quality experience -- you can choose Sushi Time and have it all at an a very affordable price. Thanks JC and Pedro for an experience of a lifetime!

One Tuna, one Mahi and an amazing time with my son on the water! - One Tuna, one Mahi and an amazing time with my son on the water! The service was impeccable. The owner, Juan Carlos, met us in the marina and brought us to our panga. Great guy and very helpful! From there Francisco, our captain, was in charge. He was patiently teaching my son how to tie knots and shared his tricks about fishing. Really awesome! One Tuna and one Dorado latter we were two happy campers. Absolutely great experience and I highly recommend it!

Fun time at sea - Can’t pass up this experience! Great day on the water. Antonio and Christian are expert navigators and fisherman. I was very impressed how they efficiently managed the boat (panga) as we chased marlin and how they worked all the different fishing lines. It was exciting and fun! I’ve never been fishing in the ocean before and it was amazing! Can’t wait to do it again. Antonio and Christian were helpful and made sure to give us the best experience even when we were unsuccessful with the marlins and accidentally caught a manta ray. We got a good haul from a school of mahi mahi (dorado) on our way back to the marina. The pangas are small boats and you sit close to the water so make sure you take some Dramamine before setting sail if you’re not used to being in a boat. Juan Carlos was very informative when I reached out a couple days prior to our reservation. Make sure you bring cash because although I confirmed that morning that credit cards could be used, when I got off the boat I was told cash only. A minor inconvenience as there were 3 ATMs nearby that only give US dollars. However, be prepared to use US cash instead of cards. You will have to pay for fishing licenses, bait, cleaning the fish, and freezing and packing the fish to bring home. Someone not affiliated with Sushi Time will come to the panga when you’re back at the dock to collect your fish. Follow him/her to their cleaning/gutting station not far away. If you have over 10 lbs of cleaned fish they will freeze, pack, and deliver it to your hotel to bring home by plane. You check it as checked baggage with airline. Overall the best time in Cabo! We took our fresh fish to a restaurant that evening to feast on. Can’t wait to sail with Sushi Time again. Thanks!

Great experience with unnecessary live bait fees - Great experience; fisherman took us on his boat; he had lures on his fishing rods and we used the lures to catch 4 Bonita fish. We were charged for bait ($20) but once on the boat, we just used plastic lures and not any live bait. Otherwise a great experience, would love to come again and catch bigger fish.

Profoundly disappointed. Would accept a refund. - This was a very poor excursion as it promotes the potential to catch deep sea fish (e.g., dorado, marlin, etc.), but provides a boat so small that it cannot go out to those distances where such fish are caught. Expecting guests to spend a 1/2 day on a boat without bathroom facilities is completely outrageous. Also, the trip coordinator, Paco, requested $60 USD for licenses and bait. I never saw or completed a fishing license application and the bait was insufficient in quantity. The boat, Sushi King, was in disrepair as it leaked power steering fluid so much that the operator had to stop the boat to minimize the leak. TripAdvisor should reconsider promoting this excursion.

No sport fish - My son and I went out with a man to fish. He baited four rods and placed them in a holder. He wouldn’t let us fish except for letting my son reel ONE in! There was no lunch or drinks for which we paid extra! This was really a scam!
