Great time!! - Amazing!!!! So much fun. The staff aka pirates are amazing. Full of fun, friendly, put on a good show. They interact with children and adults. Open bar is awesome and attentive, food is good and snorkeling is fun. They do a little find the key to the treasure thing thats fun. Didn’t see a ton of fish snorkeling but it was still enjoyable. On the way back they do a fun show, interact with the guests more (kids and adults) and we also had a lot of whale sightings (2/29/24). For the cost it’s definitely worth it!! Super fun!

Lunch Snorkelling Tour - The lunch cruise was so much fun! We got to stop by the Arch and take pictures on our way out to the bay. Once we got to the bay to snorkel, the crew was extremely friendly and prepared for the really strong currents we had. We saw so many fish and the bay was gorgeous! On our way back, we were served a delicious lunch and the crew had a movie trivia game prepared. The highlight of the day was seeing a mama and a baby whale. Overall, the tour/experience was a 10/10. Only suggestion is to bring your own towel because there aren’t any on board!

YES YES YES - This was the most worth it excursion we could have chosen! The "pirate ship" is for all ages. We had the open bar, they served us lunch, and the crew was awesome. It was a great experience and we had so much fun.

Best Pirates ever! - This was the best pirate excursion we have ever been on. Would definitely recommend this family friendly excursion. If we ever get back to Cabo we WILL be doing this again!

Definitely Go - Great Experience, Fun Adventure - Awesome experience, highly recommended. From the welcome reception area which happens to be a restaurant and bar (which we bought the Berry Mojito & Black Panter while we waited to board) to the crew, ship, and food we will definitely go again the next time we go to Cabo. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner before we boarded the ship. The crew was very hospitable, the ship was clean and tidy, and everything had its place. We were lucky enough to see humpback whales on our tour which was not even part of it but the captain made it possible. The MC was hilarious and gave a ton of energy which helped the tour. The food was good and plentiful. They took great photos of us at the arch that we ended up purchasing. Due to the hurricane, the water wasn't very clear so we didn't see much fish while we snorkeled. However, it was my daughter's (7) first time ever snorkeling and swimming in the ocean where she couldn't put her feet on the bottom.

Not what I expected. - There were no pirates on board...it was one big party pirate ship. It was "fun" but not at all what is described. Snorkeling was you jumping in the water them throwing out meat and a few fish coming and then get out. Lots of college kids hardly any other children. Staff was nice. So if you want to actually go snorkeling I wouldn't recommend. If you want a party ship with unlimited booze this is great for you.

Tour Cancelled Day Prior - Can't review them when they cancelled with me via text day prior while I was on cruise ship. Was supposed to be 2/20/24 for Pirate boat. They wanted to either reschedule for Catamarans Cabo Escape or do the Pirate boat on 2/21. Granted we had 2 days in Cabo but already had plans. I asked if the Catamaran was kid friendly since we had 3 kids 7-12. The response I got was, All our tours are family environment, but the best choice for families is The Pirate Boat... I responded I needed to check if I could move my excursion for Wednesday and asked if I was unable to do so if they would be refunding me. They responded that "from our end we are able to reschedule, if you wish to cancel you would have to contact Trip Advisor since I made through them" Long story short I was not able to swap and contacted Trip Advisor and they were great and had to send email to confirm and issued my refund which took about a week. Disappointed they cancelled and even more so that I saw several "Pirate boats" including what I thought was the Buccaneer Queen so no clue what happened.

Prediators. - Prediators. - The crew isolated my daughter from the group after she found a key that was part of the game. They wanted to do something to my daughter and their intentions were bad. DID NOT FEEL SAFE.

Thank God nothing happened but it still shook me up a bit to think how long they have been getting away with things - Predators. Young women please be aware. They had a game that If you found the key in the water you would win a certificate. I happened to win. They proceeded to ask me if I was a good diver and had me take off my life jacket in the water, I dove a couple times to get the key he had on a string but it was difficult due to the water pressure, then told me let’s swim to the side of the boat where it may be more shallow, which of course was not because we are pretty Far from the beach. I still didn’t have my life jacket, then said let’s go closer to the reefs, gave me back my life jacket and Used ans a floatie and the two other guys came with with , so three men total, now i am isolated from the group on the other side of the boat where no one can see me. We are far enough away from the boat and far enough away from land. They separated me from group on other side of boat in the water, 3 men with their lifebuoys and fourth staying watch and took my life jacket again and I said why do we have to go way over here and he told me it’s for the experience, and I said well why can’t my Mom and sister be with me and he said come on we are friends, I then said no I don’t know you guys. I look back towards the boat And there was another man looking at us and I asked if we are leaving and he said no and put a thumbs up, as if he was keeping watch. They wanted Me to dive for the key, and in that moment I didn’t want to find out what happened if I dove and came back up, so I said no I don’t care about the key or winning and I swam back with no life jacket to the other side of the boat. It Wasn’t right and it was weird, my Gut said something isn’t right. And if any girl who would have been drinking and would not have been a strong swimmer would have been left really vulnerable from all that swimming and diving . I just think if I came out of the water, two guys could have held me and my Mouth and the other would have been free to do as he pleased with the other guy keeping watch. We were in the water granted but these guys are good swimmers from doing these Excursions often with lifebuoys and myself with no life jacket. I don’t know why all three had to come just to watch me Dive for a key and no one else in the water watching the group. We booked this trip through the little hut on the harbor boardwalk right next to the legends sports bar. Ladies please, I don’t know how long they have been doing this for and I wouldn’t want it to happen again. It wasn’t right.

NO information from Viator/TripAdvisor about cancellation - BLUF: Viator has a terrible customer service and it's all on you to get information/refunds. I was really looking forward to the tour and we knew it was on the edge of happening due to bad weather , so I checked my emails and messages regularly the day before and the morning. We made the trip from San Jose to Los Cabos (about 35 one way in an Uber, 50 in a taxi or 90 USD a day for rental, not sure how much the mass taxis are) and when we arrived to check in, the local already knew who we were, as we were the ONLY ones left on his list, which have not been informed about the cancellation by their tour provider (Viator). Not only were we not informed, in order to get refunded the cancelled trip, it was up to me to call them and initiate it. If you book through a local company that happens automatically. Very sad I didn't get to go since it was supposed to be for my birthday, and even more disappointed about the experience with Viator/TripAdvisor. Lesson learned. Picture from the day in Las Cabos.....no Buccaneer Queen in the harbour.
