Consistent - Consistently safe operators, clean boats, good quality gear rental, getting a bit pricey, but reliable daily scuba tours in and around Cabo.

You Should Do This - During my vacation in Cabo San Lucas (November 2023), a friend introduced me to Manta Scuba Diving, and after a few Discover Scuba dives, I was hooked. The staff at Manta were exceptional, particularly Loris and Cesar, who guided me through the Discover Scuba experience with expertise and enthusiasm. Impressed by their professionalism, I made a decision to return to Cabo specifically to pursue certification with Manta Scuba. Prior to my return trip, I completed the online coursework from home. Upon my arrival in early March, I was paired with Angela as my dive instructor. Angela's instruction was exemplary; her patience and clear communication greatly enhanced the diving experience. Her passion for diving was infectious, and she tailored her training methods to suit my individual learning style. I immediately booked 6 additional dives after my certification. I cannot recommend Angela highly enough as a dive instructor at Manta Scuba Diving. Thanks to her guidance and expertise, my certification experience was not only successful but truly memorable. Manta Scuba Diving exceeded my expectations in every way, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have trained with such a dedicated and skilled team.

Good people, good dives - Went on a three-tank dive trip with Brandon and Primo as the boat captain. They were both awesome and the dives were incredible. I can’t recommend enough.

Amazing ! - Amazing experience ! Lot of marine life, staff are great! They also speak French in case you need it ! I'll come back! The highlight was to see 25 eagle rays swimming together!

Awesome Experience - Awesome dives. Polo was an excellent guide and dive master - very professional. Dove Neptune's Finger, Blow Hole and Cabeza de la Ballena (whale's head). Saw a few rays on the first dive. We had three humpback whales pass by right above us on the third dive, what an experience. Even saw lots of whales in between dives. Double breach right in front of the boat. Saw more whales on the dive boat than on other whale watching trips. Even saw a gray whale pass by our boat, which we were told was rare to see. Highly recommend Manta Scuba.

Great Cabo dive shop Manta Scuba! - This is my 2nd time diving with Manta Scuba. They are an amazing diving shop with excellent guides. Angela (hopefully I got her name right), Brandon and Lorris were our guides over 3 days. Wonderfull people who are passionate about doing their jobs. It's so cool to see them get exited about seeing the things that we're here to see as well. Comfortable boats with a pro crew. You can not go wrong with Manta Scuba.

Three tanks is better than two - Sebastian was the dive master and we saw some sea of Cortez species including several rays not easily seen when diving Cabo. Three millimeter full suit is a bit cool for January diving but coming from Northern California, I am proof that it can be done. The boat was full on the first two dives, but it was like a private charter on the third tank. We saw whales in between dives, and heard them underwater on the first dive.

Best scuba shop in Cabo - Great, great local scuba shop with knowledgable guides and all the equipment needed. Don't be fooled by the small location or worn look, this team knows what matters: amazing dives and expert staff. I was in Cabo for a week and dove for 4 days with Manta, for a total of 6 dives and 2 snorkels, doing the corridor, land's end, shark whales in La Paz, and a little bit of whale searching between dives ;). I've been diving for 3 years but the groups I was in had anywhere from 20+ year divers and just certified, and the guides accommodated us all. I learned new tips and tricks, practiced diving with a current, and heard whales twice with the guides having patience to stop for a moment and let us take it in. I'm very happy I booked with this shop and got to dove with this team.

Great dive experience with Lawrence at Manta Scuba Diving. - Did the 3 Tank Combo and it was awesome. Lawrence was excellent and we saw hundreds of rays, sea lions and reef sharks.

Worst dive boat experience in 25 years - Upon arriving they paired myself and another advanced diver with 2 beginners. I told them I would prefer not to do beginner dives. They said we would not, but we did. After 2 dives of the 3 we purchased, they said they were going back to the dock to take some guests back. They would take is back out after the 40 minutes ride back. Why were there 2 tank people on a boat with 3 tank? Not good. Their attitudes were not good and I would NEVER dive with them again. Poor communication and not great dives.
