Early Kayak Adventure - My friends and I are pretty adventurous and wanted to take kayaks out to the arch and Lovers/Divorce Beach. After shopping around, Tios had a great price and friendly staff that spoke English. They stores our belongings while we were out. Get there early to beat the heat and the boat traffic!

Worst experience ever. We were... -
Worst experience ever. We were given no instructions for our return and as we headed towards the beach in front of the tour stand no one saw us and a huge wave came up and flipped the kayak over hitting my 14 year old daughter in the head, and pulled me down under the water for several seconds which of course was scary. As we came in I saw someone running towards our kayak but it was too late. We ended up being ok albeit pretty shook up, but the real failure here was when someone came over to us after we collapsed on the beach and I told him the boat hit my daughter in the head, the fellow then went on to say we signed something that said we knew what we were doing. Not a how are you, can I help you, or I'm sorry that happened. I said thanks for you concern and he walked away with some sort of submissive hand gesture. At least another guy gave us some bottled water and got a hose so we could get all of the sand off of us. I asked what we did wrong and he said nothing, they just didn't see us because several people were standing in from of their stand and unfortunately a huge wave came in.
Things happen, I understand that, but in customer service it's the way it's handled after that really counts. Big fail here. If I were you I would go to another vendor for activities.
