Who knew there was a waterfall in Malibu! Great Hike with Bre! - We had the best hike with Bre! The drop off location has both a parking lot and street parking, as well as a porto potty. The hike is excellent and enjoyable, not too strenuous! We hiked during a time of year when the water was a little higher and Bre was right there assisting all of us as we went across the small streams. The waterfall is beautiful and great! Bre even took a few photos of us! She was knowledgeable and lovely to be around. Highly recommend for a fun day hike!

A beautiful hike with the best tour guide! - This hike was amazing! Not only were there beautiful views, perfect weather, and fun waterfalls and streams to experience but also Bre was an incredible tour guide! She made the hike so fun and engaging, allowed time to enjoy every new area we ventured into and even provided snacks and water. I had an amazing time and can’t wait to do it again. Beautiful trail, wonderful company, highly recommend - Wow, what a wonderful experience hiking to the waterfall this beautiful Sunday morning. Our guides were so helpful, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area. The hike itself was fairly easy, with a few uphill climbs. The waterfall was gorgeous, and came with water and a snack, provided by our guides. We said hello to a horse on the trail--watch your step! Bre pointed out a few stars’ homes in the area and recommended other scenic hikes in Malibu. The experience was heightened by the knowledge and conversation shared with our lovely guides, who went above and beyond to make sure everyone got the most out of the experience. As a local, I’ve been on many hikes in the area, but this was by far the best. I recommend California Dream Trails for an enjoyable and memorable hike.

The first hike my parents actually enjoyed! Thank you so much! - Bre was our guide for a nature experience that brought us through the hills and trails of coastal California. She brought a kind and patient energy and catered well with my parents, who don’t do too much hiking, and brought their dog. The waterfall was beautiful, and she supplied us with waters and snacks along the way. Very cool way to get outdoors in an area I was not familiar with. Thanks again!

Waterfall Dream Hike - We enjoyed this morning hike with our grown kids and son—in-law. It was a moderate level hike that my wife and I could complete and had some elevation and stream crossings. Breanna and Lovey, our guides, were enthusiastic, knowledgable, and fun to hike with. The halfway point of the 3 hour hike was a cliffside waterfall where we took photos and our guides provided cold drinks and nourishing snacks. We really enjoyed this hike and highly recommend California Dream Trails for a beautiful back-to-nature experience away from the traffic and crowds!

Morning Malibu Waterfall Dream Trail! - Our family booked the Malibu Waterfall hike with California Dream Trails. Our group of 5 adults and 2 small dogs spanned 2 generations and various ability levels. Preview to the great hike, the drive to the checkpoint took us through the gorgeous Santa Monica Mountains to the coast just as Lovey said it would be! Breanna and Lovey welcomed us at the checkpoint with great energy and huge smiles coming prepared with walking sticks for me and my husband which we requested for crossing the 5 small streams! I highly recommend requesting them if you need assistance with balance. Breanna and Lovey shared constant interaction with members of our group noting points of interest, stream-crossing advice and photo ops throughout the hike revealing their familiarity with the terrain. At the waterfall they thoughtfully provided cold drinks and healthy snack options as well as assisted us with our group photos! The hike back was quick and Breanna was prepared to offer some nearby post-hike lunch spot options along the coast. We had a very enjoyable, successful hike! I highly recommend this hiking business and would not hesitate to book with them again to explore Southern California trails as their business expands! Breanna and Lovey are great people to hike with and you can expect hiking tips, terrain knowledge, planned preparation specific to your group’s age and abilities, smiles and lots of laughs from Breanna and Lovey at California Dream Trails!

Breathtaking Waterfall Hike! - We had a fantastic hike with the tour guides at California Dream Trails. Not being familiar with the area, I had no idea that such natural beauty was so close to LA. The guides were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They provided drinks, snacks, walking poles, and acted as our group photographers. The whole experience was fantastic! I would highly recommend for a team outing or an afternoon with the family

A MALIBU MUST! Excellent guides and beautiful hike - perfect for all ages/levels! - For those nature lovers who aren’t sure what to do in LA, this is the perfect activity for you!! My family and I had the most amazing hike with California dream trails! The guides were wonderful – so friendly and we had great conversation and they even brought us water and snacks (that they carried for us). We brought our two dogs with us and the guides are absolute dog lovers. The hike itself was perfect from technical perspective – our group ranged from 29 to 66 years old and we were all able to do it and enjoy ourselves. There were five small streams to cross, which was fun because it added a bit of a technical element and the guides are there to help you cross, and no one fell in or got their feet wet! Otherwise, the trail is mostly flat with a few hills, but nothing unmanageable. The waterfall at the end was absolutely beautiful and we were not expecting to find that in Malibu. I don’t think we would have been able to do session enjoyable hike as a family without this guided tour, and it seems like maybe only some of the locals know about the trail and it would have been hard for us to find otherwise. This was an excellent activity to spend time together in nature - we will definitely be booking again when we’re back in LA!

This is the tour to take! - We had an absolutely amazing tour with Breanna last week! It was a beautiful day, and the waterfall is absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area who loves nature and wants to get away from the hustle of the city for a little while. I can’t believe this hidden gem was in the Los Angeles area. Breanna was very personable, and we learned a lot along the way. This is the perfect experience for someone looking for an intimate tour. Great value as well!
