Additional Information

Why should you embark on the LA: Food + History + Design Tour?

Culinary Experiences: With a rich and varied history of immigrants, the LA food scene has been influenced by French pioneers in the 1800s, Italian settlers in the early 1900s, and a surge of immigrants from China, Vietnam and Thailand in the past half-century. Not to forget, we also have influences from Latin America and Japan!

Historical Journey: LA has an intriguing past. Several of its oldest structures, harking back to its humble beginnings as a farming village in the Wild West, are still intact, and you’ll explore them in this tour.

Architectural Marvels: DTLA is home to numerous signature structures – the City Hall, the Walt Disney Hall, and the Eastern Columbia Building, for instance. The tour also features a variety of stunning interior spaces, from the Bradbury Building to Union Station to an Art Nouveau hotel lobby.
