Catalina Island - As you venture ten miles into the rugged interior, you will view the protected side of Catalina Island seldom seen by most visitors. Have the chance to encounter wildlife such as bison, deer, bald eagles, ravens, or even the Catalina Island fox.
There is a photo opportunity around every turn as we climb to the Airport-in-the-Sky. At this stop, visit the Nature Center and peer down at one of Catalina’s original Native American gathering sites. The fee to the Catalina Island Conservancy directly supports the preservation of the animals, endangered species, and endemic plants on Catalina Island.

As you venture ten miles into the rugged interior, you will view the protected side of Catalina Island seldom seen by most visitors. Naturalist onboard enriches experience with wildlife and inside knowledge of the areas visiting during the tour.
- You MUST arrive 15 minutes prior to boarding to check in. We leave promptly at the scheduled time and cannot wait. When booking travel to the island please make sure to give enough time from arrival to island to get to tour departure location.
- We are located on Catalina Island, You must secure transportation to the island to take the tour. There are no refunds if you miss the tour.
- TRAVEL TO CATALINA IS NOT INCLUDED. Transportation needed by Ferry to Island.
- Children Under 5 will not be able to participate in the tour.

In the Catalina Cabrillo Mole, building located where ferries dock. Across from Catalina Express offices & same building as day lockers. There is a Welcome To Catalina statue in front, walk about 50 feet past. If you go through Mole building & reach the parking lot you gone a little too far.

Catalina Island Tour - Very enjoyable and informative tour. Tour guide was quite knowledgeable. The roads are extremely bumpy which my back did not enjoy.

Do not miss this tour!! - Our tour guide was friendly, & a great story teller. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, especially the surprise at the top of the mountain!
I saw a deer, a bison, and the cutest fox!! The weather and views were amazing and the seats were comfy.
Overall, great vibes.
This tour is a must!

Great tour - Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide, Sergio, is knowledgeable and made the trip fun. We saw a fox, but no Bison. The cookies are a must at the airport!
I would recommend this tour, it was nice to see what's beyond Avalon!

Definitely worth the time and money. Our guide was great! - This was our first time on the island, we learned a lot of the history and terrain. The airport was cool and we got to see two of the cute little foxes on the way up.

Adventure tours - Our tour guide Lupe’s was very informative regarding the history of Catalinaisalnd. Dave the driver was gracious to share his birthday with us. I would definitely recommend my friends on this tour when they visit.

Great Experience - Very knowledgeable staff. Gave a lot of info on the history of the island. Got to see the native Catalina Island Fox! Got to go all the way up to the airport, which was cool also.

Excellent experience - Get there early. The boat had inside and outside seating as well as up front seating we didn’t realize. The staff were helpful and kind. This was an overall excellent experience and can’t wait to do it again!
