Amazing hike with knowledgeable tour guide! - I had such a great time hiking Griffith Park with Paul Norris! The route took us through Los Feliz and up to the Griffith Observatory, with fantastic views of the Hollywood Sign along the way. Paul was incredibly knowledgeable about the area’s history and landmarks, and made the experience fun and informative. He also helped me find parking, suggested other nearby attractions, and gave a great lunch recommendation. Highly recommend booking this tour—Paul’s a fantastic guide and made the day truly memorable!

Moderately strenuous hike with nice views - Gregory was a great guide and tailored his information to our interests. We enjoyed being able to see the Ennis house up close and really wouldn’t have been able to do that without hiking up because the streets are very narrow. Be aware that the Hollywood sign is visible, but far away. There is a bus down from Griffith Observatory at the end or it’s a fairly easy walk back down the trail.

A really nice introduction to LA with great views - Gregory was a great guide! I had the pleasure of being the only one booked and present for the tour so I was able to ask a lot of questions. Gregory gave me a lot of information about the history of LA which was great as it was my first day and really set me up for the rest of my trip. I enjoyed the walk around Los Feliz as well and was able to take lots of pictures. He had lots of little interesting facts for things so I really enjoyed it, plus we had good conversation. It was a short and intense burst of actual hiking at the beginning of the tour and then most of it was easy walking. I ended up exploring the observatory when it opened for a short while and then did another hike around the area afterwards.

A must do tour of LA - This tour was one of the highlights of my trip to LA. I was lucky to be able to do this tour with just the tour guide Paul, who shared many insights into the history of LA as well as LA culture. If you want to see and experience LA through the eyes of someone living in LA this tour is a must. I would do this tour again next time I'm in LA.

Hiking - I had a great time with my tour guide, Paul. He provided so much insight about the places we visited (Los Feliz, the Hollywood Sign and the Observatory). And it was wonderful talking to him.

Cali hike - It was a great hike. Your shoes should have good treads on the bottom, can be slippery! Gregory knew a lot of fun facts and had a good history of California

Disappointing communication - Despite having received two confirmation emails from Hikes and Bikes, we received a text at the appointed time of departure for the tour canceling the tour stating they had an internal communication error and didn’t have a guide assigned for us. They did promptly provide a e refund. It was disappointing because we were looking forward to this tour.
