Join our knowledgeable guides on a 3 hour hike through the hills of Hollywood, ascending the mountain range for the best possible view of the Hollywood Sign. Take in the spectacular vistas of Hollywood, Downtown LA, Burbank, and of course, the globally renowned Sign, while sidestepping the potentially confusing canyon routes. Listen to fascinating stories about old Hollywood, film production, and even attempted murder, but bear in mind, it’s a challenging hike so come ready. There are no restroom facilities and good footwear is a must. Truly a genuine hiking experience! We suggest starting at 8:30am to benefit from the cooler morning temperatures. Get in touch if you prefer a different start time.

Amazing experience - We had amazing views of the city and the Hollywood sign, also the tour guide was friendly and explained us fun facts about the sign

Great Griffith Parktour! - My husband and I had a great time on this tour! Lisa was very knowledgeable and entertaining about the different sights ( man-made and natural) we saw. The hike wasn’t too difficult (we are both 70+) and Lisa made sure we went at a pace we could all enjoy. I would recommend this tour to both visitors and Angelenos; we live in LA but learned lots of information from Lisa!

Wonderful Hike - I had a wonderful time on this hike. Our guide Lisa was very knowledgeable and fit. This was something I wasn’t expecting to do while in Los Angeles but was so much fun. Got some beautiful photos and exercise too. Thanks Lisa!

Loved the hike to the Hollywood Sign! - My daughter and I had a great experience hiking to the Hollywood Sign with Lisa. Lisa is very encouraging and knowledgeable about Griffiths Park, the Hollywood Sign and places to see in LA. Would recommend this tour. So glad we did it!

Great tour! - Really enjoyed this hiking tour with Maria, Chris and Chris' dog! We were luckily enough to be the only customers so were able to get a wealth of information from our friendly and knowledgeable guides. This hike finishes right above the sign and the route up seemed pretty complicated, so I'd definitely recommend using these guys!

Disappointing - We took the Hollywood Sign Adventure Hike and were overall disappointed with our experience, although it was great to see the sign up close and do something a little different to the normal tourist trails. I have emailed the company directly with my concerns but I haven't even had an acknowledgement from them in nearly 2 weeks.
Firstly you don't need to take this tour to walk to the Hollywood sign (hike is a little bit of an overstatement if you are ok with walking up hills - the UK is full of hills!). All you need to do is get to Lake Hollywood Park and pick up the path from there. We were there at 8am on a Saturday morning and there were already several other people walking, and lots more by the time we finished, so you are unlikely to get lost.
I don't know whether it was because we were the only ones on the tour but our tour guide wasn't very engaging. She was interested in flowers and seemed more interested in taking photos of these than the tour. As it's not something we are interested in she didn't have much else to say. We also pointed out a few landmarks and asked what they were but she didn't seem to know that either.
Overall the entire hike took just under 2.5 hours, and that was with coming down a different way. At the end of the tour, which is in a fairly quiet residential area, we needed to get an Uber. When I managed to get a cell phone signal there were none available. With that an Uber car pulled up and our guide jumped in and left. Bear in mind we were from the UK, without transport and staying in Santa Monica I don't think it is very professional to leave us in the middle of nowhere not knowing if we could get back, especially as the tour hadn't overrun. Luckily after about 5 minutes we managed to get a lift ok.
Overall this was not good value for money, just take the walk yourself.
