- Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in with your guide. There are other guests on the LA tour and we can not wait for latecomers.
- We’ll be walking 3.5 miles (5.6 km) along what is widely considered to be an easy to moderate Hollywood Sign hiking trail
- Closed-toe shoes are required and layers are recommended
- Young children welcome but should be able to hike on their own.
- Guests must provide their own water on this tour.
- Guests joining this tour should be in good health, with a beginner to intermediate fitness expectation on this Los Angeles tour
- Guests should not have a fear of heights, and should not be afraid to break a sweat on this Hollywood Hills Tour
- Children under 2 years old are free. For this hike tour, children should be 5+ years of age, and able to hike. For guests traveling with younger children/strollers, we recommend our express Hollywood Sign Tour

Well guided hike - Being new to this area of the city, I felt well guided throughout the hike. Sarah H led us up the mountain to the Griffith observatory and stopped to tell us stories along the way and offer recommendations. It was a great hike and I’d recommend it! : )

Morning hike to start our day - Mark was an amazing guide!!!! 5 stars. We learned so much about the history of California, LA, Hollywood and Griffith Park. The hike was well paced, uphill climb to start the day when we had the most energy, well timed breaks, lots of photo opportunities and bonus visit to the observatory after the tour. I highly recommend this hike and you will be in great hands if Mark is your guide!

Book it - I wasn’t sure whether to book a hiking tour or to use a trails app to do a solo hike. But I’m so glad we did it as part of a tour, we had Sarah as our tour guide and she made us feel safe and gave us so much interesting information and also tips on our visit in LA. If you’re unsure on booking a group hike or going by yourself, book this tour!

Fantastic morning! - We had a great experience with Chris for our tour and hike. My cousins were here from Australia and it was a perfect way to spend a few hours exploring Griffith park, learning some LA history and seeing some amazing views of the city. Chris was attentive and friendly, and the hours flew by. This is not an easy hike, lots of it is uphill, but it was very doable and had great views. Highly recommend this excursion and Chris in particular. Thanks for a great morning!
