Lovely excursion - Beautiful Inca Lagoon, great to see the Andes, Portillo was interesting, ski resort used for world class competitions. Guide was very informative, helpful, used mic which made it easy to hear and he spoke English well. Would recommend.

Amazing day! - This was an absolutely amazing day trip. Álvaro was a fantastic tour guide, both he and the driver were super friendly and informative. The wine tasting was fabulous, a beautiful vineyard with gorgeous views of the Andes mountains, and we got plenty of local wine to try, as well as some snacks. We then went up to the Lagoon, which required a drive up through the Andes mountains. As someone with quite the fear of heights, I struggled quite a bit with some of the drive up - I think it would be beneficial to mention this somewhere in the description, just so people are prepared. However, once we got to the Lagoon, it was absolutely worth the slightly scary ride up. The lagoon was absolutely breathtaking, one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen. We explored the Lagoon a bit, got some pictures and videos etc. then enjoyed a long lunch in the restaurant, overlooking the gorgeous water. It was absolutely beautiful. We then stopped off at the Llama farm after which was so much fun. I’d seen some negative reviews regarding the llama farm, saying they didn’t seem well looked after, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I think they seemed very well looked after, happy and friendly animals! Overall it was an incredible day, and I would highly recommend the trip to anyone spending any time in Santiago. Thank you!!!!

A different sort of experience - My daughter and I wanted to travel the infamous Liberatores Pass with all the switchbacks just out of Santiago. We decided to go with a private driver as didnt want to be packed into a minivan and was cheaper. We really enjoyed the drive up to the Lagoon via the Los Carocoles. Had a coffee at the top then headed back down to a winery for tastings. Driver was English speaking and a very comfortable KIA car.For a full day it was only 180000CLP paid in cash. His details are [email protected]

Beautiful and Informative Trip! - Well three things caught our eye with this trip, views, wine, and llamas, and let me tell you this delivered. What we didn't expect is all the knowledge we would gain from our guide Hector. We learned so much about Chile including the culture, history, and environment. The ride to the Lagoon was very scenic and we were able to stop at certain points to see certain parts. The vineyard we went too was beautiful with delicious wines. The lagoon was beautiful as well with the winding road up and the Portillo Hotel being added benefits. The stop at the farm to see some llamas was just the icing on the cake. Only downside for this trip is that the ride back to your hotel is very long. Overall this trip was well worth it to see some of the Andes and learn so much about Chile in general.

Not worth the price - This is was a hugely disappointing day. The wine tasting was nice, but done by the tour guide, not a professional of the winery. We wandered around the vineyard, but again, no specific direction or information was available. The Inca Lagoon is beautiful, but you don't need almost 2 hours here - it is a scheme to get you to spend time/money in the hotel. There is no where to walk to or anything else to see. And the visit to the llama's is a joke, it's a tiny farm attached to a local diner where we stopped for 15 minutes.
