Tower of London & Crown Jewels - You are in a very large group, but the Yeoman speak pretty loud, so shouldn’t be a problem. The Yeoman (beefeaters) are very funny and give a lot of good history. Barney was great and he was in the Royal Marines. The tour is exactly 1 hour and the entry lines move very smoothly, and they are very organized. The line for the crown jewels may look long, but it moves pretty quickly. There were not as many crown jewels to see as I would expect, but it was still something to see. The white tower is very impressive and has four floors of things to see and history to read. There is one floor that is kids interactive on the third or fourth floor but if you don’t have small kids, you can probably skip it. There is a lot of stairs and no lift so if you have trouble walking, the tower might not be for you.

An Amazing Informative & Passionate Tour - An awesome tour and so much history within this tower and just fascinating how well the tower was built and has lasted the test of time. Our Tour Guide, Tracey an ex-RAF Nurse who served 23 years and the honour of being a Yeoman Warden No.415 was just so friendly and knowledgeable. Tracey's story telling was so informative and passionate delivering the tour which just made you want the tour to continue. Well done Tracey and huge thankyou, very appreciative. Overall the tour experience was well worth the time as you get all the history compared to just walking around looking.

Engaging, informative, and breathtaking - The site is obviously historic, immaculately maintained, and informative. I especially appreciated our tour guide Yeoman Warder Scott Kelly who was extremely knowledgeable but who also made the tour engaging and funny. His loyalty to the related institutions really helped make the tour “pop.”

Take the Beefeater tour! - Definitely recommend this ticket. Essentially it gets you entry to Tower of London. You can choose to wait for a Yeoman/Beefeater tour at the very beginning and I highly recommend that. It’s not super in-depth tour of the entire place, mainly just entertaining storytelling to get you started with exploring the site. It will take about an hour to go with the Yeoman Warder and it’s very fun and entertaining. Once you’ve moved to about 3 different locations where you’ll stop and listen to his stories for about 15-20 minutes each, you will then be free to wander and explore the grounds on your own. Otherwise you can skip waiting for a Beefeater tour and start exploring as soon as you enter the site on your own. Be aware that the group waiting to follow the beefeater may be as large as 70+ people so if you’re way in the back it may be hard to hear. The Tower of London was such an awesome highlight of our trip to London even being from the USA. We opted with this instead of touring Buckingham Palace because we felt it would be more relatable historically rather than seeing the place where the crown works. We made the right decision. Don’t miss this. We spent about 2.5 hours in total at the site. We could have stayed longer. We could have left sooner. Beautiful pictures right outside next to Tower bridge, the Shard is right across the river as well as the sphere/globe building. Short walk to Borough market for some lunch right after. Audio guide is not included.

The Beefeater Tour was a good tour! - The Tower of London Tour was just perfect for us. After entering the Tower, we meet up with the Beefeater who took us on a tour for about 45 minutes. The Beefeater was knowledgeable, funny and spoke loudly so we could all hear. He had many interesting stories to tell, although some were sad and disturbing. After the tour, we were able to explore on our own. We got to see the Crown Jewels too! I would say we spent about 2 1/2 to 3 hours there.

LONDON MUST SEE - I was told to skip this by a friend, but we had extra time to kill so we bought tickets. SO GLAD I DID!! It was worth every cent of the ticket price. Make sure you take the guided tour with a Yeoman—Beef Eater. They have loads of entertaining information and it only takes an hour. You can then tour the grounds yourself. I wish we had more time to spend—I’d think 2-3 hours would be sufficient. I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

One of the best places to visit in London. - One of the best places to visit in London. Make sure to take a tour with a Beefeater because their humor and knowledge bring the place to life. The historical significance of this property cannot be understated. Be sure to see the White tower and not just the Crown Jewels.
