An intimate experience - My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Kevin. Due to train cancellations, m we ended up being the only ones that were able to go for the tour. To our surprise, Kevin continued the tour with just the two of us. It was an extremely intimate and special experience, and I’m sure it would have been just as brilliant had it been a bus full of people. Thank you so much Kevin - you made our day so very memorable!

Enchanting Sussex Odyssey: A Journey Through Nature's Marvels - I embarked on a truly enlightening journey through the captivating landscapes of Sussex, with a special focus on Brighton, Eastbourne and Birling Gap. Under the guidance of the amiable Adam, my knowledgeable tour guide, the expedition unfolded as an enthralling exploration into the rich history, vibrant culture, and distinctive lifestyle of the region. The Seven Sisters Cliffs, with their awe-inspiring beauty, left an indelible mark on my memory. Adam's insights into the Greek mythology surrounding these majestic cliffs added a layer of fascination, transforming the experience into an educational odyssey. Standing on the cliffs, I couldn't help but marvel at the breathtaking views, a testament to the enduring allure of nature. Devil's Dyke, a tranquil valley, provided a serene backdrop for a leisurely stroll. As Adam recounted the folklore of an old woman and her clever cockerel outsmarting the devil, the valley took on a whimsical charm. The presence of sheep and goats added a touch of pastoral delight, making the surroundings even more enchanting. The Beachy Head Lighthouse, a symbol of resilience since its construction in 1832, captivated my senses. Positioned strategically on the cliffs, it defied the challenges of sea fog and cliff erosion, offering a spectacular spectacle. Observing the lighthouse from the lofty vantage points of the cliffs intensified its allure, revealing a testament to architectural prowess and nature's formidable forces. Nestled on Windover Hill, the Long Man of Wilmington, a colossal figure etched into the chalky South Downs, stood as a majestic hillside emblem. The sheer size and beauty of this ancient creation, set against the verdant slopes, painted a picturesque scene, illustrating the symbiosis between man and nature over the centuries. I extend my gratitude to both TripAdvisor for facilitating this remarkable adventure and to Adam for his engaging commentary, transforming the trip into a magical encounter with the natural wonders of East Sussex. This immersive journey has left an indelible mark, fostering a deeper appreciation for the historical and geographical treasures that abound in this splendid corner of England.

Wonderful way to tour Sussex coast - Really nice visit to some beautiful spots. Paul was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable. The bus was comfortable. Weather even held up for us. There’s mud in spots so be careful of your footwear choices. Dress warm!

Wonderful trip... - It was a wonderfully organized trip. The stops were very well chosen and we never spent more than 40 mins on the bus at any given time, giving everyone ample time to spend at all the attractions (i.e. Devil's dyke, Beachy head, Birling Gap and Seaford head . Our guide Mr. Paul was very kind, cooperative and knowledgable. It was a pleasure.

Lovely experience of the outdoors - This tour exceeded my expectations; we were picked up by our driver/guide for the day, Adam. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area, including geology and history, and struck a lovely balance between information and giving us time to enjoy the views and take in the surroundings without being rushed. The views of the chalk cliffs themselves are spectacular. The tour itself was 6ish hours long but felt much shorter as we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The experience is well worth the price, and I highly recommend it. Make sure you dress warmly in winter and prepare for the wind.

Discover England's most beautiful spots - If I could rate a tour 10 out of 5, this would be it. Paul is a fantastic guide and took us to the most beautiful spots. His knowledge of a wide variety of subjects resulted in a great tour, but also in me still reading up about some topics a week later. Before, I knew very little about this area and came across the tour by accident on Tripadvisor. So a huge thank you to Paul and Tripadvisor! If you want to explore beyond cities and love a mixture of nature and culture, this is for you. Highly recommended! Tip: comfy shoes will be required and be prepared for a few easy and short hikes. Also consider visiting in winter. The quality of light is amazing and there are fewer tourists about. Paul also optimises the light to ensure the best views.
