Additional Information

Join me in a walk through London’s West End, exploring its extensive musical history. As an enthusiastic, educated, and sprightly guide, I’ll lead you on a personal tour of places tied to music, and I’ll relay a myriad of musical facts and pieces of trivia.

Discover the location where Mick Jagger and Keith Richards gave their audition for The Rolling Stones.

I will reveal to you the spot where the album cover for Bowie’s ‘The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars’ was photographed.

I’ll show you the meeting place of Paul McCartney and Linda Eastman in 1967, who later became Linda McCartney.

You’ll see the dwelling of the Sex Pistols.

We will imitate the cover of Oasis’s second album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?

You’ll see the studios where Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity’, Elton John’s first hit ‘Your Song’ and ‘Candle in the Wind’, and the Beatles ‘Hey Jude’ were recorded.

Find out where Genesis gave a covert performance as ‘Garden Wall’ back in 1982.

Wonderful Tour, even for a Rock and Roll novice - We had a great time on this tour, even though we weren't much into the topic of rock and roll before. Grant was a wonderful guide and took the time to show us around Soho and tell us a lot of fascinating facts about its history. Brilliant tour that we definitely will (and already have) recommend to our friends. 10/10

A must for music buffs. - Our guide, Grant, was so knowledgeable about the 60's and the talent that originated from Britian and influenced the world music scene. He took us to places that were unassuming, but so full of history. It would be a shame if this information dissappeared. Maybe Grant could write a guide or catelogue something on the Internet so these places are not forgotten. Enjoyed the experience.

What a great experience for anyone interested in the history of rock - I didn't know what to expect and had no idea so much of global rock started in London. There were so many secret places where things happened that defined how rock and roll developed. From david Bowie, The Beatles, Oasis and many many more you will hear lots of interesting stories and see the places where it all started. Our guide was incredible knowledgeable and made the tour a fantastic experience.

Rock n Roll Trivia Tour - We joined Grant on a walking tour of Soho & discovered a wealth of rock n roll trivia. He took us to a range of different land marks, some completely inconspicuous, other more well known, and told stories, backed up with facts, dates, photos & record covers. A self confessed Bowie fan, Grant has an extensive knowledge of the golden era of rock n roll & was the perfect host. The trip inevitably included some ‘watering holes’ where we were all able to reminisce about our favourite music albums.
