    famous landmarks in London.
  • London Eye - The London Eye is the world’s largest cantilevered observation wheel, offering wonderful views of London during its 30-minute rotation.
  • Royal Festival Hall - Built in 1951 for the Festival of Britain, the venue is host to many international concerts. The complex includes restaurants and bars with great views of the river.
  • Tate Modern - Housed in the converted Bankside power station, the Tate Modern is a ‘family-friendly’ modern art gallery, with a free permanent collection as well as specialist exhibitions.
  • St. Paul’s Cathedral - Built by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of London, St Paul’s is simply awe-inspiring. See amazing views from the dome, but be
warned, it’s 530 steps to the top!
  • Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre - A replica of the original Globe Theatre with daily behind-the-scenes tours, and a summer season of Shakespeare’s plays as Elizabethan
    audiences would have seen them.
  • HMS Belfast - Explore the nine decks of this warship to discover what life was like onboard during the Second World War.
  • Tower of London - Explore a thousand years of history. Visit the Bloody Tower, see where royalty lived - and were executed - and marvel
    at the Crown Jewels.
  • Tower Bridge - An excellent example of Victorian engineering at its best. Find out how it works and see the Thames through the glass floors of the
walkway in the Tower Bridge Experience.
  • Cutty Sark - Visit Cutty Sark in Greenwich for an action-packed day out on one of the world’s most famous ships. Meet figures from the ship’s past like Captain Woodget and the ship’s cook and hear their epic stories about life on board the fastest ship of her time. Take the helm at the ship’s wheel, visit the crew’s quarters, then relax with a coffee and a cake at the ship’s café. Cutty Sark is the world’s sole surviving tea clipper and now an award-winning visitor attraction.
  • Royal Observatory Greenwich - Take a selfie at the historic Prime Meridian where east meets west and take your place at the centre of the world. Whilst you’re at the top of the hill at the Royal Observatory be sure to enjoy the views of London and beautiful Greenwich Park, the perfect chance to point out landmarks to your kids.

Visit the beautiful Flamsteed House, designed by Sir Christopher Wren and historic home to Britain’s Astronomers Royal. Take a fascinating glimpse into the apartments where the Astronomers Royal and their families lived and worked in our new Observatory Life display. On top of Flamsteed House is one of the world’s earliest public time signals, the bright red Time Ball, which has been in operation since 1833. See it drop at 1pm every day!

  • Greenwich Park - Overlooking the River Thames and home to one of London’s most iconic views, Greenwich Park is an amazing mix of 17th-century landscape, stunning gardens and a rich history that dates back to Roman times.
  • Old Royal Naval College - The Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich is one of the most spectacular and important baroque interiors in Europe.
  • Greenwich Market - London’s only historic market set in a World Heritage Site. Open 7 days a week 10am-5.30pm. Find street food, antiques, fashion, boutique shops and more.

Great way to start our trip - This was the perfect way to start our first time visit to London! It was a great way to get a feel for the lay of the land and see many of the well known landmarks from the view of the River Thames. Our tour boat announcer was funny and shared a lot of fun facts that were new to us. We went to Greenwich and spent more than 3 hours there at the museums and Royal Observatory, and we loved the Greenwich Market. It was easy to hop back on the return boat when we were ready. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Brilliant - Really enjoyable. Facilities great, comfy and clean. Views amazing. Commentary really knowledgeable, interesting and really amusing at times which was perfect for us. Sometimes, commentary can get tedious, but that was brilliant. There was a group of 5 of us and we all really enjoyed it.
