- Trafalgar Square - The Christmas tree gracing the square is a yearly gift from Norway, expressing gratitude to Britain for assistance during World War II.
The square also features a grand Hanukkah Menorah, with a new candle lit each day of the festival.
- Westminster - Not only the hub of the UK’s Parliament, Westminster is also known for its royal heritage, dating back to when Henry VIII established his palace in Whitehall. The Lights are mainly in London’s vibrant West End, along the iconic shopping routes such as Oxford Street, Regent Street and Bond Street.
We also see superb lights in Mayfair, Trafalgar Square, the Thames Embankment and Westminster.
The car is an electric powered 6 seater, with a glass, panoramic roof and is solely for the use of your group.
We can stop wherever you like for photos and I have a fabulous route planned out, which we can alter as we go along to let you see whatever you like.
I am an experienced London Cabbie and qualified Tour Guide, so I’ll tell you loads of interesting facts and stories about London too.

An evening not to be missed! - The London Christmas Lights Tour with Dave was a huge highlight on our trip from New Zealand. Dave's knowledge of London, both associated with the lights and in general, made the evening extra special. And the fact that we were in our very own private black cab added yet another layer to the experience. The lights were incredible, the number of places Dave stopped so we could take photos and see the lights up close, the comfort and luxury of the cab... the entire experience was truly amazing!!! We've already decided that if we ever make it back to London, Dave will be one of the first people we get in touch with for a repeat night. A huge thank you to Dave for an unforgettable night out in London that these kiwis will treasure always.

The tour is more than a tour of the London Christmas lights it’s an fun education of what London has to offer 💫 - What a lovely experience being driven round London at Christmas, the lights, the hustle & bustle all in the comfort of a glass roof black cab.
Dave’s knowledge of London is exceptional, you learn things about secret gardens, where films are made, the royal family, the Beatles it’s endless… he dropped us off at the lovely department store F&M so I could buy those lovely Christmas goodies & chocolates we even time for a stroll round Covent Garden 🫶
Dave offers lots of different tours & we couldn’t recommend him enough.💯
We look forward to our next family tour this year. 🤩

Best Chrimbo Lights Tour … ever! - This was our third Christmas lights tour with Dave and I cannot say enough good things! It is absolutely the best way to see the sights and you couldn’t wish for a better companion than Dave! With his wonderful knowledge and enthusiasm, he has endless patience with the somewhat difficult (!) traffic. Fantastic photo ops, the best bathroom stops and all the Christmas tunes you could want! Fantastic! - Excellent tour! Surpassed my expectations too. Dave was excellent, very friendly and helpful, and happy to go at our pace. Also flexible over route so we could see what we wanted. Very informative, knows London inside out, and very professional. Highly recommend.

Wonderful taxi tour experience 10/10 - Just got back from the most amazing taxi tour of central London to see all the Christmas lights.Dave went above and beyond to make the tour memorable for us including my mum (who is disabled) .Inside the taxi was all decorated and made comfortable with blankets cushions snacks and drinks.Dave stopped at yhe most amazing places with such great knowledge of all London and even stopped in an area so my mum could get out and see a small light display from a safe distance she truly was made to feel so special ❤️❤️ I would highly recommend this tour and will definitely be taking another tour in the future 💪

A magical evening - Our driver Dave was not only our driver, but our historian, tour guide, and wonderful host! It was completely beyond our expectations! It was my mother's dream to see Christmas in London, Dave made the experience magical!

Fantastic trip! - Christmas lights tour is such a fabulous night out for the whole family. We had a group aged from 9 years up to 81 years and we all had a wonderful time. The London lights were fabulous and so much nicer to cover a large area in the comfort and safety of the black cab. Dave is a fountain of knowledge and takes such care and attention before and during the trip. I really feel that he personalises each trip to his passengers needs. I have had the pleasure of joining Dave for a Harry Potter tour, which was also tremendous and lots of fun! Dave offers a wide range of tours which are all worth checking out through the year! I don’t think you could find a better tour guide than this man.

Best Christmas Light Tour Ever! - This was the best Christmas light tour we have been on. Dave was an excellent host and tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the light exhibits and their locations. He provided several stops throughout the tour allowing us to walk around for pictures. Best Tour Guide I’ve ever experienced! - If I could rate this experience with 20 stars I would. I booked the Christmas Lights Private Tour with David. He was simply amazing. I was with my 90 year old mother and seeing the Christmas lights in London was on her “bucket list”. Having explained this to David , he was able to customize our tour (due to her mobility) and did not disappoint. He showed such compassion towards my mom, and throughout the ride in his impeccably clean glass roof taxi, kept us both entertained with his incredible knowledge of the city. He also was able to manoeuvre the traffic with knowledge of all the side roads, meaning we really got the extra time to admire all the incredible lights throughout the city. The tour started on time, and David added on some extra time at no cost to take us to a pub in Nottingham that was known for its amazing light display. I cannot recommend this tour enough, nor express my sincere gratitude to this very knowledgeable, compassionate guide. I would recommend David for any tour he does, and plan on seeking him out for another tour on my next trip back to London.
