The Old Royal Naval College’s Painted Hall is often referred to as the Sistine Chapel of the UK.
This monumental 18th-century marvel, conceived by Sir Christopher Wren, has recently greeted visitors once again after an impressive renovation costing £8.5 million.
The fastest and most regular fleet on the river is managed by Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, with services leaving from crucial London docks every 20 minutes. This fleet of 18 swift catamarans connects London’s points of interest, providing a unique perspective on the city’s landmarks. Each boat is equipped with air-conditioned indoor compartments, open-air decks, and licensed coffee bars.
- Please redeem your voucher at the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers ticket offices: Westminster, Embankment, London Bridge, Tower, Greenwich or North Greenwich piers
- Not valid for use on the River Bus Express services for events at The O2
- Pier ticket offices opening hours: 10am - 6pm but Uber Boats by Thames Clippers are running until 9-10 pm. Please refer to time table.
- All our piers are step-free and wheelchair accessible except for Cadogan, London Bridge City and Wandsworth Riverside Quarter piers.
- Only certain models of mobility scooter can travel on Uber Boat by Thames Clippers vessels. Whilst some mobility scooters will fit, some are too large. Please contact Uber Boat by Thames Clippers directly.

Memorable and affordable experience - Amazing experience with the boat ride and the trip to the painted Hall. A memorable experience that needs to be visited at some point.

Worth It - Never knew there was such beauty to be found in Greenwich! The Painted Hall and surrounding estate was stunning, beautiful architecture and murals. We received a tour and our guide was very passionate and knowledgeable, talking us through the history of the grounds and its famous inhabitants. The Uber boat was a nice opportunity to relax and travel in comfort without the hustle and bustle and heat of the underground, but the views weren't quite as expected, windows could perhaps do with a clean. Nevertheless it made for an enjoyable day out. We spent the morning in Greenwich then took the boat to Embankment for dinner in Central London. Would recommend this tour.

So much more interesting (and faster) than any other way to travel - It is the best way to travel across much of London, especially from West to East - fast, efficient and really fascinating. You can either just read or work throughout the journey or watch our wonderful city float past. It is the best way to get a thorough backdrop of British history and great fun to boot - plus, London keeps changing and evolving so, if you last did this trip five years ago, you will almost certainly find something new and amazing to see... without the traffic jams and road closures.

awful avoid at all costs - absolutely awful - avoid at all costs - boat was 20 mins late and then was too busy for us to board. we then had to get a cab to avoid being late for tower of london. when i complained was told to write an email and i may be able to get tickets moved to another day - really helpful as this is last day in london. no refund offered - truly disgraceful
