Great sites, great inclusions. - Honestly was the best way to see the city with unique information for the areas. We also did the Jack the Ripper walking tour with Craig and that was amazing!! All included as well so that was nice. Great time and friendly bus drivers. Would recommend!

Mixed Review - Busses were very crowded and sometimes there was a long wait for the next bus. One day the driver seemed to be lost and it took us over an hour to get back to our hotel causing us to miss the concierge lounge hours & we had to go out for dinner. However, the Themes River Cruise was lovely.

Cold snowy day in London - I love the idea of hop-on-hop off. They hit the highlights of London. You have to get off the bus to actually see Buckingham palace. The parks and palace loop I think is better if you're planning on getting off places. I didn't see a whole lot for most of the driving part. I really enjoyed the riverboat cruise. It was frigid and snowing my tour day. The boat was warm and served food/drinks and had bathrooms. They leave about every 40 minutes. Part of the bus loop was closed (stops 9-14). It was not on their site or app. I waited 40+ minutes at stop 11 until I finally walked to 17 (where I knew I'd seen buses the day before). Windows were all very dirty, so you had to go up top in the open air section for good pictures and views. Cold and seats were wet. Even downstairs, the bus wasn't very warm. However when I needed to thaw out a little, downstairs in the very back (over where the engine is) was the warmest spot. This particular company does not have a live app to show your location or to show where buses are located. That would have been a huge help, as I just missed pickup several times. I did not like that workers were smoking. I was sitting up top smelling them puffing away right below us at a couple stops. I felt this was pretty unprofessional.

Excessive waiting times with Topview Bus - Long waits for hop-on hop-off. Especially on the Blue Tour up to an hour waiting time, e.g. at the bus stop Palace Garden Terrace. Waiting time from 13.40 - 14.40. Better with Tootbus or Bigbus, since the frequencies are at least 3 times as high.

Routes were good but I would spend my money on another company instead. - During our European trip this year we were using the Hop-On Hop-Off bus companies to have a look around he cities we were visiting. Selected TopView London as they seemed to have good routes for tourists. First problem was finding information on the frequency of the buses on their routes. Start and finish times were advertised but not frequency. On the first day we were on a route that would take us back to a stop near our accommodation , which was advertised as finishing at 1800hrs. At 1645hrs the driver told us he was terminating on the other side of the Thames and we would have to take the Underground bacto to our side of the city. There were no members of their staff at many of their stops, only at the major attractions near the Thames. One of their driver's was rude to us when we asked a question about his route and only responded to us when I told him that we already had tickets. I would recommend using one of the other companies.

Don't touch it!! - Unfortunately, it's a total failure. The homepage said the buses leave every 15 minutes. The blue tour ran every 60 minutes and was divided into 2 individual tours, which completely confused the schedule. The red tour every 40 minutes and different than indicated in the plan. The drivers knew nothing, were no help and rude. The app only worked semi. We did not find a current timetable. Nobody answers my question by email either. The audio output only worked sometimes and in addition to that there were some French announcements on the German tape. Unfortunately, we didn't learn anything about London and lost a lot of time on that. Too bad!

Others are better. - Buses very unreliable, often run shortcuts and some stops do not serve. In the app only insufficient info. Next time I'll take BigBus or TooT Bus.

Waste of Money - The stops are not clearly marked. We never could get on a blue bus as they were all at least an hour apart and then ending before 3pm. Waste of money. Map is terrible. Needs an interactive online map. The app is not helpful as the times and locations are not correct either. The boat tour was nice.

Disappointing - Choose another provider!!!! You wait between the buses at least. 30min, the information about the headphones is only short and not really interesting but mostly only music is playing! There are driver changes in between (waiting time about 10‘) if you are unlucky like us then it may be that you are standing at a station 30‘ as you wait until all people have bought their tickets and get in. But the best thing to do at the end: the buses stop running at half past five you are then simply “thrown” off the bus Bottom line, never this provider again!

Avoid at all costs - I purchased tickets for myself and my two child from a Topview representative on Westminster Bridge. We agreed on a price of £98. Later on that day, I saw that I had been charged £127. I returned to the representative the following morning and told him what had happened. He was apologetic but said he couldn't refund me directly and advised me to contact the Topview website where a refund would be arranged. This was not the case. After four weeks of emails, the company have not refunded my £29. They have offered to reissue the tickets I purchased, which is of no use to me- I will not be visiting London again in the near future and I would certainly not go on a Topview tour ever again. There is clearly a scam being operated here. In addition to this, the buses were irregular. One positive was that the buses weren't very busy- testament to the fact that this company offers a poor service and tourists have wisely chosen other companies to tour with. I will be doing the same in future. Abysmal customer service, substandard tour, charming but dishonest representatives- avoid at all costs.
