“A Perfect London Day: Great Routes, Friendly Marshals, and Outstanding Service with Topview” - We purchased the Topview Hop-On Hop-Off 24-Hour Pass and ended up having an absolutely outstanding day exploring London together. My son and I travelled on both the Red Route and the Blue Route, which gave us a comprehensive and enjoyable overview of the city’s most iconic landmarks. The buses were clean, comfortable, and well-organised, and the audio commentary added real value to the experience. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service from the Topview marshals. Every marshal we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. A special mention must go to the marshal who assisted us with swapping our tickets from 13 January 2026 to 12 January 2026. The process was handled quickly, calmly, and with a positive attitude, turning what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless experience. That level of customer service makes a lasting impression. The hop-on hop-off format allowed us to explore at our own pace, take photos, stop for meals, and really enjoy the city without feeling rushed. It was the perfect way to spend a full day in London and created memories my son and I will treasure. I would highly recommend Topview to anyone visiting London - excellent routes, excellent value, and outstanding people.

Disappointing bus tour timetable - Bus tour is disappointing. Stops are hard to find and not well signposted. Very confusing with the other companies of bus tours and the London buses. Moreover, the service is poorly arranged. We waited 1 hour at a stop for a bus and then left on foot, because there was still no bus. The boat trip on the Thames was fun and interesting. The boat sailed a bit fast to take the time to look at everything and take pictures. The guided walk of Jack the ripper was worth it. Very interesting and intriguing. Well brought and a super good guide (James)! A topview ticket for several days is not recommended! This is expensive for the service they offer in relation to the buses.

Absolutely appalling - avoid! - AVOID!!!!! Such a huge waste of money. We were told when we were waiting for the bus at the south bank that due to low season less buses were running. We initially waiting ages to get on a bus and was told the buses were probably every half hour or less. This is definitely not a 'hop on hop off' bus tour. We didn't want to be waiting in the freezing cold for half hour every time we hopped off so we stayed on. However due to the low number of buses running, the bus was absolutely rammed - you couldn't get upstairs at all as there were no seats. We sat downstairs where you can't even see through the windows properly - not a sightseeing tour at all (see photo of our view). The map shows the bus going by Buckingham place. However it is the back of Buckingham Palace so you can't see Buckingham place at all. You really need to get off of you want to see Buckingham Palace. This isn't made clear by anyone so we passed it and didn't get off, we had 4 young children with us who were very excited to see Buckingham Palace. Definitely do not use this company - the 'city sightseeing' buses were everywhere and had plenty of room at the top of their buses I would recommend going with them. We spend over £90 for 2 adults and 4 children with topview (hilariously ironic name!) and it was such an utter rip off as they did not have enough buses running at all. Extremely disappointed.

Don't Use This Service - Would not recommend at all. First stop we tried was closed and no where were you notified, only found out from a driver from a different hop on hop off company. After calling up customer service this was confirmed, and were advised we either need to go to a stop before or after. We walked over to another stop using the maps on the website for stop locations. The stop points were not even close to where they were stated on the website. We were right next to the stop and the bus driver drove past us (we flagged him but he didnt want to wait for us). Websites says busses come every 15 min - we waited for 45min for the next bus before I called the customer service centre and asked for the tickets to be refunded . At this stage we had enough as over 2 hours of our day had been wasted. The lady informed us to email through with the copies - which we have and 3 weeks later we still have not been refunded or one of our 3 emails have even been acknowledged. Use another hop on bus service and save yourselves the heartache we had

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY - DONT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY Travelled from South Wales and created an itinerary for a full day in London starting with the Parks and Palace bus tour. Currently waiting 45 minutes at the first stop no sign of any Topview buses red or blue routes. Cant contact them automated telephone lines. Our itinerary is now ruined. FYI have seen City Tour and TOTO tour buses going past with regular frequency. The website states the tours start at 8am and run every 15 mins. We bought a 48 hour ticket and did the red route yesterday. The buses wait for a very long time at each stop even if nobody hops on or off. Yesterday the red tour ended at about 4pm and not 6pm as posted again ruining our plans. Honestly we waited in eager anticipation for months for this trip and its been ruined by Topview. I appreciate we need to be flexible as tourists but how can one company be so unreliable?

Awful Service & Unreliable - BEWARE!! - DON’T BOOK THIS ACTIVITY WITH THIS TOUR OPERATOR. Extended wait times (35 mins), Route interruption, no advertised frequency, asked by the driver to get off midway to walk to the next stop. No reliable service. This is NOT the level of services I expected from VIATOR , especially traveling with toddlers and elderly passengers. I booked a Top View Hop On Hop Off tour. I am extremely frustrated with the service that was provided. The frequency was not advertised online. The driver said it was supposed to be every 25 minutes (other tour operators had every 10 minutes). We 3 toddlers (aged 4, 3 and 2), one 70 year old and one young mother waited in stop 21 for 35 minutes. We could have walked to the next stop for that time. When we got on the bus at stop 25 wanting to go to stop 4, half way through the bus driver asked us to get off the bus as he was asked to skip the rest of the stops and asked us to walk 30 minutes to stop 4. I paid £100 and didn’t even get a decent service for the money I paid. I requested full REFUND and was denied by both the Tour Operator and Viator and the following were stated by Viator “ Reason provided: all sales are final as the bus was in service. However, they would be happy to reschedule your ride. We understand that this may not be a favorable resolution; however, we feel that all avenues have been thoroughly investigated. As such, we are unable to revisit this final decision.” Do they think the Visitors from outside U.K. have time to reschedule?

Scam for tourists - Horrible. Very expensive. Waste of time. Have waited almost an hour to learn that the bus no longer passed at 3:30 pm.... You must avoid it. Take the subway.

Horrible. Do not recomend at all - Absolutely horrible. Staff are not able to provide acurate times for bus arrivals. Told 15minutes waited over an hour on multiple occasions. Use alternative hop on hop off buss Topview was a HUGE disappointment

Never again with Topview! - I can't believe I've never seen anything so bad. Boarded the bus, after about 10 minutes we had to leave the bus again, with the statement from the bus driver, in 5 minutes the next bus will arrive. The bus then arrived 30 minutes later. Then we finally went again, to the next stop, to swap the bus driver. That took 10 minutes again. A cheek!!!!
