Highlights
  • Tower of London - The Tower of London is the oldest palace, fortress and prison in Europe. The origins of the Tower begin with the Norman invasion of England.
In the 1070s, William the Conqueror, fresh from his victory but nervous of rebellion, began to build a massive stone fortress in London to defend and proclaim his royal power. Nothing like it had ever been seen in England before.
William the Conqueror’s great stone keep, later known as the White Tower, was once defended by a deep ditch on its north and west sides only.

The eastern side was defended by the ancient Roman London city wall, whilst the River Thames protected the south side. Your Tower of London admission ticket includes the Crown Jewels, the ravens, the public outside areas of the Tower of London, Tower Green, White Tower, including Line of Kings, and Armoury in Action, Bloody Tower, Medieval Palace, Battlements (excluding Martin Tower), Torture at the Tower exhibition and Fusiliers museum.

  • St. Paul’s Cathedral - This religious monument is particularly known for its architecture that boasts Neoclassical English Baroque-style elements designed by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of London in 1666. The cathedral’s most distinguishing feature is its lead-covered dome, one of the world’s largest and tallest domes.
On this visit walk in the footsteps of royalty and political leaders on the Cathedral Floor, explore the Crypt where our nation’s heroes are buried – or scale the Dome and enjoy unrivalled views across London.

  • Westminster Abbey - Under the decree of the King of England, Westminster Abbey was designed to be not only a great monastery and place of worship, but also a place for the coronation and burial of monarchs. This church was consecrated on 13th October 1269.
Situated in the grounds of a former Benedictine monastery, it was re-founded as the Collegiate Church of St. Peter in Westminster by Queen Elizabeth I in 1560. Known as the ‘House of Kings’, until 1760 the Abbey was the final resting place of 17 monarchs, including Elizabeth I and Mary I.
on this visit you will discover burial sites for kings, queens, writers, and scientists, its long, rich history, and its importance as a coronation site for English and British monarchs, Westminster Abbey is one of the most awe-inspiring churches in the world to visit.

  • Kensington Palace - Kensington Palace was once a small and suburban villa, known as Nottingham House. New monarchs William III and Mary II chose this modest mansion in 1689 to be their country retreat. Over the years, Stuart and Georgian monarchs transformed the palace into a fashionable home for Britain’s young royal families.

Queen Caroline shaped the palace and gardens, and Queen Victoria spent her childhood here. She left to live in Buckingham Palace in 1837. Kensington later became home for minor royals, including her daughter, the talented sculptor Princess Louise.

More recently, the palace has been home to Diana, Princess of Wales, Princess Margaret and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. It is also the London home of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children.
Visitors can walk through the King’s State Apartments, the Queen’s State Apartments and the Gardens. There are also exhibitions plus a shop and The Orangery café.

Enjoyable day but poor scheduling - We enjoyed the choices we made for our day very much. However, due to poor scheduling, we missed an important event from our list. We ended up paying for an extra hour and still missed 1 thing we wanted to see. We gave our list many months ahead and asked for an itinerary ahead of time. We were never told that we may not be able to see the things on our list. Even paying for an extra hour, we missed out.

Good day - The title says tour, but this is more of a private driver that helps you access sites around the city. Not much in the way of guiding or information provided. That said, our driver Prad was very helpful and accomodating of our group during a crowded time in London.
