Intriguingly, we’ll guide you to some of the premier viewpoints where the stunning panorama of Lake Bled and Bled Island can be captured for keeps in breathtaking photos.

During your visit to Lake Bled, add to the experience by indulging in a traditional pletna boat ride to Bled Island, ranked among Slovenia’s top destination points. Post the boat ride, you’ll have time to delve into the charm of the tiny island and bask in the panoramic views of the surrounding vistas. Furthermore, you have the option to visit the Church of the Assumption of Mary and partake in the tradition of ringing the wishing bell, a fixture on Lake Bled since 1534.

Complementing your visit, make sure to take a leisurely stroll along the bank of Lake Bled, marveling at the graceful swans and playful ducks populating the lake. Better yet, relax and refresh in one of the lake-side cafes and savour the local delight, the traditional Bled cream cake, kremšnita.

Incredible Lake Bled - The tour was excellent. Our driver Damien was professional and personable. One lady called him “ a wealth of knowledge “ and I agree with her. Lake Bled was so beautiful, I started to tear up when we arrived. The water color, view of the island and Castle were stunning. It was a well organized tour. After arriving at Bled island by row boat, we enjoyed roaming around the tiny island. Amazed at the incredible views of the water and majestic snow covered mountains. Then we were given the option of shopping on the lake or visiting the Castle. I am so glad I didn’t miss the view of the lake from the Castle and enjoyed having traditional cream cake on the terrace. The Castle is one of the best kept and well maintained castles I have ever seen. It is truly beautiful. I hope someday to return to Lake Bled because it was so lovely.

Great half-day trip to Lake Bled - not to be missed! - I would definitely recommend this half-day trip to Lake Bled, which leaves you enough time to explore the island and the castle - both very beautiful. Very convenient location for pick-up/drop-off and comfortable mininus - I would say 6 passengers is enough (which we were) as 8 would make it a bit tight and less comfortable. We had a great driver (sorry I forgot his name) - he was very friendly, chatty and very informative. We learnt so much about the area and Slovenia in general - very passionate guide.

Highly Recommended. - We booked a 1/2 day tour of Lake Bled and Bled Castle from Ljubljana on June 1 with Slovenia Explorer. It ended up Slovenia Explorer arranged a private tour for my wife and I as they experienced 2 full tours on the same day. We were impressed. The tour guide was excellent and he drove us back to the restaurant in Ljubljana where we wanted to have dinner that night. I would highly recommended Slovenia Explorer if you want to explore Lake Bled and other beautiful places close to Ljubljana.

0.5 day trip to Lake Bled and Bled Castle - A decent tour, with good driver/guide.The boat trip to the island was pleasant but this is at an additional cost of 18 Euros(note this has to be paid in cash to the boatman). We arrived at Bled Castle late in the afternoon, entry was again at additional cost, but it was starting to get dark so taking good pictures from the castle was not possible.Would be good to start this tour an hour earlier in the winter to be able to get to Bled Castle earlier

Great Day - A misty cool day from Ljubljana to Lake Bled was made enjoyable by Natasa (Pardon the lack of proper phonetic notation). Koper Tours was very responsive and provided a fantastic solo tour at late notice despite the challenges of current conditions. Conflicted as to whether I recommend or hold this secret for selfish pleasure.

Good to visit once. - It was a good experience, less than my expectations. But still interesting. The lake and the island were beautiful, the castle was ok with spectacular view of the lake area.

Let down at lake bled - The tour guide was knowledgeable but the tour felt a bit rushed especially after we got back from the island. No time to have a walk by the lake or visit a cafe, before going to castle. Also no time to stop at the best view point between lake n castle, just drove by, only neede 10.ins to take photos. Perhaps add one hour onto tour to make it feel a bit less rushed.

The cost of the trip was... - The cost of the trip was very expensive. The lake itself was just a lake, very average. Surrounds were okay.
