Very enjoyable introduction to the foods of Slovenia - We did this tour on the first day of our arrival in Ljubljana and it was a great introduction to the city, its geography, history and, most of all, its food. Our guide was Simoni who was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We are vegetarian and she fully adapted the samples to our requirements. We really enjoyed the food and went back to several of the restaurants before the end of our holiday. It was also a great introduction to the wines of Slovenia which are of great quality. I would definitely recommend this tour.

A great introduction to Ljubljana and its cuisine - We did this tour on our first afternoon in Ljubljana which was the perfect way to immerse ourselves in the city from the outset. We had a fabulous time with Simona who guided us around Ljubljana at the perfect pace. We tried an interesting selection of Slovenian foods and dishes which was made all the more so by Simona's passion and enthusiasm. Her knowledge of the area and cuisine was excellent and she took time to make sure we all had the best experience possible. Thank you!

5 star trip and good value for money. - Our host Simona was great, her knowledge and experience was outstanding. She introduced us to the local food and wine at a number of locations around the old town.

Excellent tour - Great tour, taking in all the sights of the city whilst sampling the best food and wine. Great talk also pointing out local sights and history, including recommendations for restaurants to visit during our stay.

Perfect balance of *everything* - I so thoroughly enjoyed the food tour with Simona - absolutely everything was well planned and executed. Simona herself was just delightful to spend time with. She is warm and funny; she felt like an old friend yet simultaneously was super professional. When we went to the food market, you could tell that she had warm and genuine relationships with the various sellers. Simona did a great job covering a variety of foods, explaining the history, and pairing with local wines. I loved that our final stop supported a local restaurant that employed people who face a lot of employment discrimination. I was also happy with the amount of food - it was perfect. I wasn't sick from overeating, and I also wasn't still hungry...just right! :) Definitely take this tour - Simona is a gem and super knowledgeable about food, wine, Ljubljana and Slovenia.

Must do tour if you’re in Ljubljana - The whole tour was fantastic. Unique and delicious food and wine. Plus some history and architecture thrown in. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. We loved it!

Beautiful walkable city to visit again - Learning how people live their everyday lives and getting a sense of the history of the city especially recent transformation to a non vehicle old town
