Amazing Tasting Experience! - This was one of the best wine tastings I've ever done - highly recommend this experience! You are led through a cute wine bar into a back room/wine cellar for the tasting, immediately setting the mood. Tina was incredibly welcoming and knowledgable - both about Slovenian wine and the history of Slovenia. The tasting was well-paced and included a variety of wines, one of which we tasted blind, which was fun. The wines were all from small family-owned wineries, which is most of what you apparently find in Slovenia, and were all delicious. The only downside was they are not widely exported - I will just have to return to Ljubljana for more!

Greatest wine tasting event ever! - This was the best wine tasting experience we have ever had! The host Tina is amazing and incredibly knowledgeable about Slovenian wines. She was funny and so nice. We had such an amazing time. Do not miss out on this experience!

Learning about Slovenian wines - We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting. It was a very small group so there was a chance for informal conversation and ask lots of questions. The setting was an intimate brick wine cellar that was perfect for the evening's event. Our host was knowledgeable, sharing information about the different wine producing regions in Slovenia, the reasons why Slovenian wines are so difficult to find outside of Slovenia, and the growth and development of wineries following the years of communist rule. Overall a fun, interesting experience. We highly recommend this tasting.

AMAZING WINE TASTING IN UNIQUE LOCATION - We LOVED our wine tasting with Boris! He was extremely knowledgeable and proud of Slovenian wines! The location was so unique and really made the experience even more special!

An informative and enjoyable introduction to Slovenian wines - The wine tasting takes place in an atmospheric wine cellar with some interesting historical artifacts. We had Boris as our guide. He was very knowledgeable with a very outgoing personality and an obvious love of Slovenian wines. There was a lot of information about the wines, their history and their provenance. The selection of tastings was broad and covered most styles of local wines. We knew little (nothing) about Slovenian wines before our trip and we were pleasantly surprised by their quality. This was a great way to get acquainted with the diversity of the country's wine and have a fun and enjoyable evening at the same time.

Excellent and knowledgable sommelier - Our knowledgeable sommelier was absolutely fantastic. They provided a detailed virtual tour of the wine regions with taste notes and different types of grapes. They then provided very useful background of each of the wines we tried including the producer. They talked us through what each wine is best paired with and gave us enough time to smell, taste and talk through our thoughts on them. Highly recommend doing this interactive tasting, especially with such a brilliant tutor.

A Great Introduction to Slovenian Wines - We enjoy doing wine tastings where we travel to learn about the wines of that country. Since Slovenia doesn’t really sell any outside of the country it was a good opportunity to learn and taste. We were in a wine cellar several hundred years old and Boris did an excellent job explaining the industry and the background of the 7 wines we tasted. There was also pumpkin seed oil for dipping bread, nuts, dried fruit, cheese and olives. Boris made the event a lot of fun and even did a blind tasting of the orange wine. A wonderful evening and we highly recommend it!

A unique and inspiring experience - Marvelous and fun two hours of wine tasting consisitng of at least seven wines, accompanied by a small tasting platter, and with additioanal wines in accordance to our preferences. Boris, the host, was charming, enthusiastic and perfectly answered all our questions while the setting of the underground wine cellar was enjoyabble and really atmospheric. We feel we've learnt a lot about some of the best Slovenian wines and it was really great that we were able to buy our most liked ones immediately and the place. Highly recommend this event!

Amazing experience and wines! - My mom and I took a mom/daughter trip to Ljubljana and my brother gifted us this wine tasting, and we could not be more pleased. He officially wins the best brother award, and this wine tasting wins the best wine tasting ever award. The wines were amazing, the food pairings were perfection, and Boris was amazing and so much fun throughout the tasting! I very highly recommend this!! You will not be disappointed!

Interesting experience - Very interesting experience. Friendly atmosphere. I enjoyed good wines, especially the red ones. I got familiar for first time with orange wines.
