Great for music lovers - A great music museum with lots to see and do You can get a feel for being in a studio and have a go playing instruments with headphoned sound tracks to get the pop star experience Lots and lots of memorabilia to see and it covers all the big names a great way to pass a few hours and remember great music Maybe if your not into music this isn't the place for you as its layout doesn't let you get away from the experience

Love this place - What a fantastic experience. From the moment we entered the building the staff were helpful and welcoming. We took 2 children 11 and 12 and they loved it. There’s so much to see and they enjoyed playing the instruments too.

Good place of interest if it's raining - Well worth a visit and interesting, expensive for the amount of time spent in there. There's a show that performs in the middle every 30 mins or so with exhibits around the edge however the way to know it's started is that the lights in the centre turn red. This isn't always easily noticed when you're looking around other places so it can feel disjointed as you have to keep looking up to check or move from one area to the middle and back again each time.

Let the music play!! - Wonderful - a museum for all lovers of British music and its history. I myself spent a long time in the corner with Davis Bowie, Queen and Elton John - and then the New Romantic era in the 80s. The opportunity to play instruments was also great, and especially the dance room. There were video tutorials with different dance styles with appropriate music. We had a lot of fun dancing!!

Brilliant 2 hrs - Nicely laid out relics taking you through the decades of British music evolution starting with late 40s Jazz, skiffle, and onto the British explosion, punk, metal, glam, live aid, pop, etc. Lots of fun memorabilia and interactive exhibits to prompt stirring memories of your favorite music. Covers all of the familiar major global acts with substantial due recognition to smaller yet influential bands like Boomtown Rats, Teardrop Explodes, The Jam, Stone Roses, etc.

A good walk through British music. - The time line walk through is very good and lots of information. As a music fan , I did find some bands are not as recognised artistically as others but all genres covered. The 2000 are a bit less covered. Still fun and the central stage is fun to watch. There is a chance to play keyboard and guitars and electronic drums as well. Some not working fully and as a leftie not catered for but still had food fun.

Cool music museum - The entire museum is very interesting and they have a lot of cool memorabilia from the various artists through the years. If I knew more about the music/artists from before the 1990s, I would have enjoyed it more

Great way to spend a couple of hours on a wet day - A wide range of physical memorabilia which is interesting. Some of the interactive items are clunky and don’t work that well. The dance studio which gives tuition on dance crazes is excellent as is the opportunity to be tutored on a range of instruments. I think I expected more…given it is music I thought I would find it more stimulating and uplifting experience. Nonetheless it was a very interesting and worthwhile way to spend an hour or so.

Interesting, but too expensive for a 1h30 visit. - Interesting but quite expensive. Being French, we translated the information with our phone (fortunately) because everything is in English, the interactive activities are not very practical to use, lots of costumes, interesting archives, but in 1h30 we had covered the whole thing.
