Greek mythology stories prominently feature the Psiloritis mountain range, specifically Idaion Antron. Folklore states that this cave was the nurturing ground for Deus, the Supreme God. Ancient Zominthos ruins and neighboring expanses bear the testimony of the mountain’s habitation since the Minoan era. First time up a mountain - Was our first time up a mountain. Highest mountain in Estonia is 318 m above sea level compared to Psiloritis which is 2456 m so it was completely unique experience.
The walking sticks and water that were given really paid off.
Our guide was really nice and helpful.
The view was amazing and making it to the top felt even better.
Certainly really great choice of acitivity if you are looking to do more besides enjoying beaches and sun.
