A two-hour boat sail on the Tagus river is an excellent route to explore the city of Lisbon seeing it from its best standpoint. Enjoy city landscapes from an unparalleled viewpoint and a gorgeous sunset as you navigate the serene waters of the Tagus river in a grand and cozy sailing yacht. Visit landmarks such as the Belém Tower, Terreiro do Paço while cruising past Cristo Rei, Discovery Monument and the 25th April Bridge.
Take into consideration that this excursion will be on either sailing vessels (10-12 individuals) or sailing catamarans (16-18 individuals). Larger parties will be divided as per the boat’s capacity.

- Dress code: we recommend comfortable clothes, sport shoes, sunglasses and a coat.

Relaxed, picturesque sunset cruise - Relaxing, picturesque cruise on the river at sunset. The crew were attentive, but relaxed, and the cruise out and back was great. As well as the sunset, we saw dolphins!

Amazing Sunset Cruise - This was an amazing trip, the whole thing was really well organised and the crew on board could not have been more helpful. We say at the front of the boat which allowed us to experience a real sailing experience. Lisbon is just as stunning from the water.
Word of warning, parking around the area can be tricky. There are multiple car parks but they are very busy so give yourself plenty of time if you are driving there.

- We were a group of 8 for a 2-hour sunset sail, and we couldn't have had a better time! Under sail when the wind was up, gently motor cruising when it wasn't, the crew of Tomas and Bruno were superb sailors and and maybe even better hosts. The scenery was spectacular, the vibe perfect. Can't recommend this experience enough! One of our best travel memories anywhere.

Such Fun! - A wonderful highlight of the holiday. Very different. I have been on two very enjoyable cruises with this firm on separate voyages from the same harbour, once with my 83 year old mum and once with my teenage daughter, as part of a larger group of tourists and they too, have been excellent. However, this time I splashed out to hire a boat and crew for just the four of us.
The views from the river are always excellent and we quickly relaxed into hearing our hosts knowledge of the landmarks in sight. Early on, I tentatively asked if we might do a little proper sailing, rather than the standard tourist engine and one-sail (which is still very enjoyable). Bearing in mind this was not on the schedule, and after checking it was okay with everyone in our small party, I was delighted when Raúl and Manuel readily agreed to work harder and do some proper sailing which gave my 85 year old mum-in-law her first experience of proper sailing. It was an exhilarating experience and one to treasure.
Raúl and Manuel thank you for going the extra nautical mile in the endeavour of the pursuit of happiness. You made our day.

Navigate is necessary, with the Tagus cruises of preference! - Despite an unfavorable time, it was an excellent experience, for the views, for the Tejo, for the professionalism and sympathy of the crew. We took care of the safety and well-being of the participants and it was a very well spent time.

Unforgettable Sunset Engagement - My (now) fiancée and I had an incredible experience with TagusCruises during a private sunset cruise where we got engaged! I learned about the group through our hotel, who was already highly recommended, and they could not have been more helpful and communicative in planning out the special evening. Our crew, Pedro and Beatriz, were incredible throughout the experience - making us feel welcome and comfortable.
It was very easy to communicate with Pedro over email as he helped me plan the surprise proposal and suggested the perfect moment to pop the question. He also took fantastic photos that will help us cherish the moment forever. I can't stress enough how vastly they exceeded my expectations - the surprise went through perfectly and we could not be happier.
TagusCruises was incredible to work with from the start - responsive, organized, and helpful in coordinating everything. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience in Lisbon.
I should also mention, my (then) girlfriend and I were having the most amazing time before it got derailed by the whole engagement thing. Pedro was helping us with drinks and blankets and even gave us a great history lesson about some of the landmarks we were passing. I would (and will) 100% do this again even without the engagement! Huge thanks to the whole team, especially Pedro and Beatriz, for making this such a special night.

Fun for the whole family! - Great experience and the crew was amazing. They entertained our kids the entire time and made it fun for the adults! Even with mom getting sick on the boat, they were so accommodating. Highly recommend!

See The City From The River! - The river is so important to Lisbon, so we couldn't skip the opportunity to sail into the sunset. The views of the city are stunning - things you can really only see from the river, like the Belem Tower and the Monument of Discovery. Sail up, the crew took great care of us - professional but very engaged and personable, and a glass of wine to toast the experience. Loved it!
