Additional Information

Our tour, a paragon of excellence, multi-laureate, and crowd favorite, is an indispensable part of your Lisbon visit. Our journey commences from Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its cultural wealth. Here, you will have the opportunity to wander through the town’s typical narrow streets flanked by steep cobblestones, taking in picturesque views. The tour then advances to Quinta da Regaleira, where 4 hectares of verdant gardens, lakes, grottoes, and mysterious structures like the Iniciatic Well constitute an irresistible attraction. Subsequently, we explore the immense Pena Park, an extraordinary botanical haven spanning 85 hectares that will surely captivate your heart. Post-Sintra visit, we will take you along the picturesque county road to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost edge of mainland Europe, a breath-taking spectacle. Not to forget, our final destination - the beach town of Cascais, which evolved from a humble fishing village to a posh and fashionable hotspot, after serving as a safe haven during World War II, where you will have time to enjoy a leisurely walk. The tour is designed for groups of 8-18.

Excellent and worth it - We got lucky as we were the only ones in our tour and it was a great experience overall. Ricky, our tour guide, is very knowledgeable about the history of the areas we visited. Sintra is a quintessential small town, and you get 30 min to yourself to explore the town. Regaliera is a picturesque spot to take pictures along the western most edge of Europe. Pena palace gardens are full is colorful towers. Cascais is an upscale neighborhood with good food options and bustling city vibes.

Really fun day with friendly, caring, knowledgeable guides! - Wonderful experience in a group of 4 with our guide and his trainee. Both guides shared a lot of information about the different places visited, the rythm of the itinerary was perfect and they went out of their way to make us feel the love they have for their city and its surroundings. Really fun day!

Scenic tour with beautiful castles. - Beautiful tour from Lisbon to Sintra, tour guide drove through beautiful scenic towns and windy roads. I would caution and wear good grip shoes in Sintra if forecast calls for rain, very slippery. Overall had a wonderful experience.

Freemasons fantasy well and tunnel - Long wait and Descent into well was time waste, would have preferred a visit to the interior of the white Sintra palace.

A disappointment - Sadly, this experience was disappointing.. The sights, themselves, were worth seeing, but the tour company made it a frustrating experience. There was a delay in locating the car in a very busy place, the guide didn’t introduce himself or go over the day’s plan. He was a pleasant fellow but basically a driver of the van, not a guide. Little commentary was given as we drove to our destinations. At each place we were given a few sentences of information, then told what time to be back at the car while he went off. As for food, we stopped at a pastry shop first thing but had no time to get anything given the crowds. Next opportunity to get food was not until 3 PM..
