Incredible historical journey through Sintra & more - Incredibly informative and insightful tour of Sintra and Portuguese history. If you love history or want to know more, Miguel is your man!

Pena Palace Tour - We had already used I Took a Tuk Tuk for a tour around Lisbon which was fantastic so was really looking forward to a private tour of Sintra, Pena Palace and Cabo Da Roca. The guide we had for the day was Miguel. He was so entertaining and knowledgeable about the sites we visited.But went above and beyond to give further information to enhance the day. The company booked a restaurant in Sintra which was excellent for lunch after the palace. We then visited Azenhas do Mar on the coast and also the most westerly point in Europe which is Cabo da Roca. A really full day which everybody agreed was great value for money with the added benefit of having Miguel as our guide.

Best tour company! - Miguel was our tour guide. He took my aunt and I to the Pena Palace in Sintra, then to Cabo de Roca and back to Lisbon along the coast. His knowledge of the history and architecture of Portugal was amazing. My aunt uses a walker. Miguel was so helpful, kind and patient. This is the third time my family has used this company. Highly recommended. We give it a 10++.

Beautiful excursion - Our guide Miguel showed us Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais with many details. Individual requests, such as short stops at various points, were promptly fulfilled and the culinary tips were also great. A very successful day and recommended excursion!

Fantastic - Miguel was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about everything. He taught us so much . We had a fantastic experience with him. We experienced things and learned about things we didn’t even realize we had no knowledge about!! All 4 of us had a magnificent experience. I would highly recommend him and his company itookatultuk. Perfect day in Sintra - We spent the day on a private tour with Miguel at itookatuktuk. Miguel picked us up right from our hotel in the morning and took us straight to Pena Palace. He had everything planned out and worked to make sure the itinerary fit the needs of our family. By getting Pena done first thing in the morning we avoided the long lines and still had time for pastries, Quinta da Regaleira, and lunch on the beach. Perfect way to spend the day and explore Portugal!

Two great days in Lisbon and Sintra - Our family a great time on the two tours with Miguel. The first day we did the tuk tuk tour around the highlights of Lisbon. It was a great way to see the different areas around the city and Miguel took us to some amazing spots for pictures. The second day Miguel guided our family through Pena Palace and Quinta de Regaleira. He was knowledgeable, funny and explained the history well. He took us to a phenomenal lunch with a great view at Praia de Agrada before our return to Lisbon. He also gave us recommendations for restaurants and beaches in the Algarve as well. I highly recommend these tours, ask for Miguel

Not our favorite. Maybe better with a different guide. - We were glad to get to Pena Palace early in the morning as the lines got really long and it was hot! We could have done without seeing the National Palace and would have enjoyed more time walking around the town of Sintra. The restaurant we ate at was really good! I forget the name but it is a fish restaurant on a beach. Cabo de Roca is not that exciting. It was super windy but it did give us a break to get out of the van and walk a bit before heading back to Lisbon. We didn't click with our guide which was a bummer as we spent all day with him. We also had to pay for his coffee, pastry, lunch and wine. We wish we had time to dine alone without him.
