As the second-highest point in the Serra de Sintra (over 500m above sea level), it will captivate you with its distinctive architecture and breathtaking views. King Ferdinand II, known as the king-artist, fell in love with Sintra and, after acquiring the property, decided to create a unique castle and park, featuring 500 plant species from around the globe. The palace blends Manueline and Moorish architectural styles, creating an ambiance reminiscent of “a thousand and one nights.” An unforgettable experience awaits.

• Centro Historico de Sintra - In the heart of Sintra, you can choose to stay in the village, explore the National Palace, or walk to visit Regaleira (tickets not included). Alternatively, enjoy the charm of this picturesque medieval town by strolling through its narrow streets, soaking in the local atmosphere, and savoring a coffee with the local pastry “Travesseiro.”

• Quinta da Regaleira - Regaleira, a 19th-century villa known as Palácio da Regaleira, is situated in central Sintra. It was purchased by a Portuguese businessman intrigued by secret societies like Freemasonry and the Templars. Regaleira was transformed into a palace surrounded by gardens, lakes, caves, and mysterious structures, symbolic of secret societies and rituals. This unique monument is influenced by Romantic, Neo-Gothic, and Manueline architecture. While in Sintra, you can walk to see Quinta da Regaleira (self-guided, ticket not included).

• Sintra National Palace - The Sintra National Palace is a significant royal palace from the 12th century, initially built by the Moors and later expanded during various monarchs’ reigns. It was a crucial political center during the 15th and 16th centuries’ discoveries. The palace houses the most important collection of Moorish ceramic tiles in Portugal.

• Cabo da Roca - We will visit Cabo Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. After exploring Sintra, take a moment here to capture photos, enjoy the fresh air, and unwind.

• Centro Historico de Cascais - Cascais will enchant you with its blend of a quaint fishing village and the elegance of a place where royalty spent part of their summer. It’s a perfect time to relax and enjoy a delightful meal.

• Estoril - Take a brief look at Estoril, where royalty resided and spies gathered during World War II. Interested in James Bond? You’ll learn a bit of history too.
