Park and National Palace of Pena - Enjoy a guided tour of the Pena Palace and its grounds (choose the ticket option). The Pena Palace is a prime example of 19th-century Romanticism in Europe. As the second-highest point in the Serra de Sintra (over 500m above sea level), it will captivate you with its distinctive architecture and breathtaking views. King Ferdinand II, known as the king-artist, fell in love with Sintra and, after acquiring the property, decided to create a unique castle and park, featuring 500 plant species from around the globe. The palace blends Manueline and Moorish architectural styles, creating an ambiance reminiscent of “a thousand and one nights.” An unforgettable experience awaits.
