Well balanced trip of history + free time + transportation - Ruben was a fantastic guide and provided detailed history. There were just four guests, including me on the tour. We had a short drive and stopped at Casa do Preto in Sintra for breakfast. Drove up to Pena Palace – was very glad I did a guided tour as it rained on and off all day. After some history about the palace and grounds, we did a self-guided tour of the interior of the palace – there were a lot of furnishings, artefacts, and signs explaining each room. The guide took us to some good photo spots on the palace walls. We drove down to the town center for free time. Myself and a few others in the group had tickets for the Regaleira, which was easy to find, but a bit of a steep walk – wear comfy shoes. Regaleira was my favorite stop of the day – would definitely go back and spend a half to full day there. Grabbed a quick snack then back to meet the guide/rest of the group. We drove to Cabo da Roca – the western most point in Continental Europe. Took some photos and bathroom break. The weather wasn’t the greatest – really windy and bit rainy, so didn’t spend a lot of time there. Drove along coast and learned more about the history of the area from the guide. Stopped in Cascais city center and we had more free time. I walked to the Parque Marechal Carmona and went to the Castro Guimarães Museum. Walked around a bit more until I saw some dark storm clouds rolling in and ran back to the van right when it started pouring. Highly recommend this day trip to Lisbon, especially in the off-season, as it’s nice to have a vehicle vs. waiting for a bus in the rain. Great balance of history and guided tours with free time.

A beautiful way to see Sintra, ask for David. - My wife and I decided to join this tour as we were slightly overwhelmed with the number of places to visit in Sintra! David was an excellent guide and driver, ensuring that we had sufficient time at each site before moving on to the next. David is extremely knowledgable and answered our questions, whilst teaching us lots about Portugese history and the sites that we visited. He helped us beat the crowds at some of the sites and made sure that we visited each of the 'must-see' sights along the way, without wasting time in queues. Great value and the perfect duration, giving us enough time to still go out for dinner after the tour. Thanks again, David!

Felipe knew a lot of... - Felipe knew a lot of information, and had an entertaining and humorous style. I could have used a little more time at the Regaleira, but so much other ground was covered, that I see why it had to be scheduled that way.

Felipe is a wonderful... - Felipe is a wonderful driver, communicator and is a wealth of knowledge. We had a brilliant time going to Centra, The” end of the world” right at the edge of the Atlantic and Cascais where we had lunch. Felipe engages with everyone on the trip and leaves no one left out. He really is an excellent person and tourguide. It was a pleasure to get to know him and a pleasure to meet our fellow passengers as well. Very recommend!

The Perfect Lisbon & Sintra Tour, Ask for Pedro - My dad and I had an incredible experience on this tour, and a huge part of that was our guide, Pedro. He’s charismatic, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone has an amazing time. You can tell he cares about the experience, not just getting through the itinerary. We ran into traffic that put us pretty far behind schedule, but Pedro never rushed us or cut corners. He actually stayed much later than he needed to so we could still see everything and get the full experience. That really stood out. The itinerary itself was perfect. It covered all the major highlights around Lisbon, Sintra, and the surrounding stops in a really efficient way. We’ve looked at other tours, and many of them skip some important spots that are quick and easy to add. This one doesn’t. It feels thoughtfully designed to give you the complete experience without feeling chaotic. If you’re deciding between tours, this is the one. And if you can request Pedro, do it. He made the day unforgettable for us.

Perfect Small-Group Day Trip from Lisbon — Ideal for Senior Travelers - Amazing small-group day trip from Lisbon to Sintra, Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais. I’m a senior traveler and this tour felt perfect for me—there was some walking, but it was very manageable and felt totally safe throughout the day. The small-group format made everything relaxed and personal, and it was great meeting other travelers—much better than big bus tours. A must-do tour for anyone visiting Portugal and wanting to see the highlights in one day.

Wonderful time in Sintra, Cabo Da Roca, and Cascais - We recently traveled to Lisbon and were fortunate to explore Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais with Filipe as our guide. He was wonderfully knowledgeable, enthusiastic to share the history of the area, and was very kind and accommodating of our family which included two 3 year olds. There was so much to see and learn, and we didn’t feel rushed or hurried throughout the day. I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide for an in depth experience to Sintra and the surrounding area. This was one of the highlights of our time in Portugal. Thank you for everything, Filipe!
