Alternatively, you can choose to visit two wineries and enjoy a complete lunch at a quaint family-owned restaurant in one of the charming villages.
• Jose Maria de Fonseca - At the world-famous wine cellars of José Maria da Fonseca, you will delve into the winery’s rich history, dating back to 1834, and sample some of its exceptional wines. This is one of Portugal’s oldest family-owned cellars, currently in its 7th generation. This winery is a staple in our day’s itinerary.
• Quinta do Alcube - Another highlight is Quinta de Alcube, a family-owned wine cellar with a history spanning over a century (since 1913). During your visit to this small traditional winery, you can taste their wine selection and learn more about the “agricultural side” of winemaking.
• Casa Mae da Rota de Vinhos - Each of Portugal’s 14 wine regions has a regional “Mother House.” Here, all 24 wineries of the Setúbal region are represented in one location. You will have the opportunity to see and taste the diverse offerings, terroirs, styles, and types produced by these wineries.
• Adega De Palmela - For a more “industrial” experience, the Adega Cooperativa de Palmela Winery is the ideal destination. Especially during harvest season, you can immerse yourself in the wine production process.
• Palmela - If you opt for a tour with a full lunch (including entrees, a main dish of fish or meat, dessert, and a beverage such as wine or another option), it will be served in a small, traditional family-owned restaurant in the village of Palmela.

• Refunds will not be issued if tour/activity is missed due to late or non-arrival of cruise ship
