Nuno prevented our delayed flight from ruining the evening! - Our flight from Casablanca to Lisbon the day of our evening tour and Fado dinner performance was seriously delayed and we assumed we would have to forfeit the evening’s activities. However, we were able to contact our driver/guide, Nuno, to apprise him of the situation, and he very graciously revised the schedule to pick us up at the airport (rather than the hotel) when our late flight arrived, quickly ushering us to the venue for the Fado performance/dinner. We were able to catch the entire performance, visit with the performers, and have a delicious three-course dinner of local specialties. Afterwards Nuno gave us a very personable nighttime tour of Lisbon’s older districts. Thanks to Nuno’s willingness to revise the original schedule, he saved our evening’s activities from becoming a loss and turned it into a delightful experience.

Great night highlight of the city - Knowledgeable driver and a great highlight of the city. We also enjoyed the dinner show. We were happy with this experience as we had an overnight layover in Lisbon and wanted to do something worthwhile of our time and this definitely fulfilled it. Highly recommends!!!

GREAT LAYOVER EXPERIENCE ! - Carlos was an excellent guide, he was very knowledgeable and tailored the experience to my interests. The entire tour from beginning to end was amazing the fado show the food all of it was so special and worth it. I had a delay with my flight but Carlos stayed in contact with me and everything went smoothly. I was doing a 16 hour layover but got a taste of Lisbon and was able to see many of the major sites. The tour let me wanting to return for more I highly recommend booking.

Best part of tour was Carlos! - The PROS: This tour picks up and drop off at my hotel so that was a great selling point for me. My driver was Carlos and he was absolutely amazing and super nice. He explained a lot about Lisbon and made the tour overall great. In my opinion he was the best part of the tour and kept me laughing the whole time. The places we toured were great spots and had some a.azing view points especially at night. I was a little worried a out tour Lisbon at night so again a major selling point was having someone local to venture out of my comfort zone. The fado singers were amazing, they also offer CDs, but I don't have a cd player so I did not purchase one. The food was ok, the appetizer was a cheese and olive board (not really something i can have) and bread. For an entree I had the veal stew with sweet potato and dessert I had chocolate mousse. Please do not expect large portions. This was okay with because I was able to have both the main and dessert. The Cons: In my experience the restaurant's service was not the best. The menu was very limited and I had to wait a while before the waiter even asked me if I wanted something to drink. He passed by the table several times before I even knew he was the waiter fir my table. Also for the price point I think a regular soda should at least be included or for the restaurant to provide a water. I did voice my lack of service to the host that originally sat me and he did try to offer me something else, but I was over it by the time I did get up to leave. Also there was not a lot of people, if it had been packed I would definitely understand. I do think if they reorganize the tour to have the dinner after the sight seeing it would be better. Also maybe choose a different Fado restaurant with a better menu options for the price point. If you do choose this tour I hope you have Carlos because he made the tour for me! I hope you let him know that I thank him for his kindness and overall genuine personality!

Cost vs Quality - Carlos our tour guide was excellent and the food was good as well as the show but the cost of the tour does not equate what we expected.

Not worth the money - I was very disappointed with the food and also being that we paid $150 a person. This could’ve been done for $50 per person. The restaurant charges $39 and a taxi will cost $10 for two stops to take a couple pictures it’s not worth the money.
