Get to know Sintra, a former holiday home of Portuguese royalty, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and situated just beyond Lisbon, through our high-end private tour. This package includes an optional ticketed tour of Pena Palace, and leisure time in the historic center. Following a meal, the tour proceeds to the most westerly point of Europe (Cabo da Roca), with a subsequent excursion to Cascais, the fishing village.
Additionally, the tour will traverse through coastal Estoril.

Great tour and great guide - Our group tour ended up being a private tour as it was just my husband and I. Hugo, our tour guide, was friendly, knowledgeable and easy going! He also recommended an amazing place for dinner.

Fantastic private tour of Sintra with Louis - Louis was the perfect guide and companion for our day trip to Sintra. He was punctual, communicative, and a wealth of knowledge. His passion for the region shone through in his detailed explanations and surprising facts. Louis expertly navigated the tour, ensuring we had the perfect balance of guided experiences and time to wander independently. We especially loved exploring Pena Palace with him – his insights brought the history and architecture to life. The scenic coastal drive back to Lisbon was an added treat, filled with Louis's engaging commentary. His insider tips were invaluable for the rest of our trip. Great Tour Guide - All palaces have room after room filled with historical things. What made this tour very different was the historical knowledge of the tour guide, Hugo Pires. As we walked through the Pena Palace he would highlight architecture and objects and tell historical highlights. It was amazing!
The rest of the trip was fun too.

Enjoyable flexibility day with an awsone guide! - I took the private tour with my mom for flexibility and to help make the best of our time.
Loucia, our guide, took us on a great adventure and easily accommodated special requests. You will enjoy a great day of sightseeing.
One Note: I recommend going outside Sintra as you will get stuck in a long tourist line (It is like Ikea with many furnishers but no exits). Check with Loucia on the best site to walk around.

What a magical treat! - Our time with Valerio was so great we ended up booking an additional tour two days later. His level of professionalism and knowledge was amazing and he really went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe, comfortable, and most importantly, that we were enjoying ourselves. Would definitely recommend this experience- truly such a memorable day/experience!

Sintra & Cascais. - This trip was incredible. Our tour guide, Val, was awesome. He was so informative, really knew his history. He was extremely helpful. Took care of getting our tickets and getting us in the correct lines as efficiently as possible. He gave us a great tour of the Peña Palace. We all loved both Sintra and Cascais. Such lovely towns. Highly recommend.

Terrible - Did not meet our expectations at all. Guide basically provided transportation only. Also price on Viator for product was sign I more than booking direct.
