Food, friends and more food! - What to say?
When we booked we didn’t know what we would cook and what would happened… but the location was amazing and the hosts, incredible!
The history of the dishes, the friendly people around, it felt we’ve knew the other guests for years! So if you want some good memories, this is the place to go, have fun and eat incredible food!

Amazing experience. Delicious dishes. - The class was amazing! Best way to taste local flavours. Our instructor, Marta, was fantastic: knowledgeable and entertaining. Ana was great as well. We cooked 3 dishes that were delicious. We learned a lot about Portugal, its main dishes, and history. It's a must when visiting Lisbon.

Great cooking experience! - This was a great way to spend our last night in Lisbon! Anna and Marta were very informative about the history of the recipes we prepared. Anna was great at providing instruction for the meal prep and the 3 dishes we prepared were all fantastic. We can’t wait to try them when we get back home!

Highly Recommend! - What a wonderful time we had! Marta & Anna were very knowledgeable and made the experience enjoyable & delicious! We are a family of 5 with kids in their 20’s and this was a highlight of our time in Lisbon- definitely recommend!

Cooking skills badge earned! - Marta was so wonderful! She explained Portuguese cooking in a warm and welcoming manner. I will definitely be making these recipes at home. I learned some foundational skills that will help dinners br a more enjoyable experience.

Compadre not Compassionate - We were very disappointed that we had to end our trip to Lisbon due to an emergency. We were even more disappointed that Compadre Cooking School showed no compassion whatsoever and despite our rescheduled class being 2 weeks after we were forced to cancel, Compadre Cooking School had a “too bad, so sad, we’re keeping your money anyway” attitude. Personally, I wouldn’t choose to do business with anyone that lacks empathy and compassion. You shouldn’t either.
