Beautiful walking tours and the most scenic views of the Atlantic from the Pena Palace - We went with our tour guide Francisco and our driver Arthur (King Arthur) and what a fantastic experience it was. Francisco was extremely knowledgeable and is an anthropologist! He gave us the history of Cascais, and ensured we saw the most amazing scenic views along our walking tour. Then, it was off to Sintra where we walked the tiny streets of the village and had an incredible lunch before heading up the mountain to the Pena Palace which far exceeded our expectations. This is truly a palace worth the hike! I would highly recommend this tour and Francisco and King Arthur during your trip to Portugal.

Miriyam was superb with... - Miriyam was superb with her information and our impromptu concert! I would recommend some better crowd control…I was stepped on and pushed/shoved in the initial rush to the bus and was one of the last to board. Maybe seating assigned based on date/time of reservation would make a better initial feel for the tour as people then “saved seats” instead of kindly rotating front to back at each stop. The tour was not done in the order stated in the brochure and an explanation of that would have been appreciated as I booked it based on that order.

Seeing the contrasts of Portugal - Day was rainy. Tour guide had good energy, but tour was conducted in two languages - so a little confusing. Sound system on bus was a little garbled. Beautiful country. Enjoyed Pena Palace and Sintra.

Sintra a must see when in Portugal - Our guide Diogo Martins was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and very personable Sintra is well worth visiting with its Penna Palace as is Cascais We sadly had awful weather 😒 with rain on and off all day. If it had been a clear and sunny day the trip would have been perfect

Too many people on tour - Our guide Joao was exceptional. The tour overall was just ok. Expect about 30 people with you on a mini coach bus. Not much time to explore Sintra and the gardens. Would recommend going with a different, smaller tour instead of this one.

I would not do this tour again - Directions to meeting point were not clear if using apple or google maps. We were delayed due to late arrivals 2x this trip. The translations were scattered around between three languages-hard to understand. Inside the Palace, you have to que in line, no passing or going ahead. If crowded (which it was), you do not see everything due to time constraints of the tour.
