A Flawless Journey through Portugal with an Exceptional Guide, Alex - We spent 3 days with Alex as our guide from Coimbra to Melides, Évora, and Lisbon—and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Alex was the perfect combination of professional, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable.
He was always on time and efficient, yet never made us feel rushed. As a safe and confident driver, we felt completely at ease navigating the varied terrains of Portugal. Along the way, Alex shared rich historical and cultural insights, tailored to our interests, making every stop even more meaningful.
He also struck the perfect balance between guiding and giving us space—allowing us time to explore on our own while always being nearby and ready when we needed him. His restaurant recommendations were spot on, introducing us to some of the best food we had on our entire trip.
Alex is truly a gem. We began the trip with him as our guide but ended it with him as our friend. We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a seamless and memorable journey through Portugal.

Wonderful day touring Sintra castles! - Wonderful tour with Elizabete. Our family of 4 enjoyed the personalized tour which was educational and entertaining. Loved the pick and drop off at hotel and the tour itself of Sintra and the castles!

Super recommended !!! - Alex was amazing, he's super nice. Knows a lot is extremely learned and that conveyed in the explanation of the city. I highly recommend the service, you will not regret it, besides it is very good person !!!

Best tour, best lunch. - We tried to tour with Alex when we were here in December on the recommendation of a friend, but he was booked. We are so glad we got to tour with him on this return trip. He met us right on time and drove us to the Pena Palace in Sintra. He had everything prearranged, and we were in the first group through the palace. His knowledge of his subject was outstanding, and his delivery was fun but informative. We spent almost two and a half hours at the palace, and then he dropped us in the village for some shopping and photo time before picking us up again to take us to lunch in Cascais at a local restaurant that served basically the best chicken I have ever eaten and french fries. What more could you want? We were obviously the only non-locals there, and Alex made us promise not to name the place. He said if you're going to find it, you will have to tour with him. Suffice it to say that we would all do this tour again just for that lunch. After lunch, we were off to The End of the World (where Europeans originally thought the world ended or you fell off the edge), a beautiful place. Go tour with Alex. You will have a great day!

Fun Day in Sintra! - Our guide Alex Alexander was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a day of discovery out of Lisboa. We visited Sintra and saw Pena Palace, Monserrate and Quinta da Regaleira with time for a snack of lunch or in my case a Pastel de Nada! We had fun day and so appreciated his organizing this for us!!

Great experience w awesome guide- Alex - Alex’s Tour - He did an amazing job introducing us to cities such as Lisbon, Nazaré, Obidos, and Tomar. Alex went above and beyond as a guide making us feel at home and thoroughly explaining Portugal’s history. He recommended us good local restaurants, was patient with our pictures and allowed my family to have a relaxed vacation through his guidance. We learned a lot from Alex and we highly recommend this tour

A wonderful day in Lisbon! - I had a wonderful day with Alex. He promptly pickup me up at my cruise ship at the port and away we went in his immaculately kept Mercedes van. Alex took me to the key sites of Lisbon and allowed me to customize the tour on the fly. His English is impeccable as well as his knowledge of the history of his country. He was a delight to be with and I will certainly pursue his services on any future travels to Lisbon. He comes highly recommended.

Elizabeth was... - Elizabeth was wonderfully. Our ship was late and she still accommodated us. She brought us to many wonderful places to see history and culture.

Our driver showed up late... - Our driver showed up late and tried to say she had been there all along (she wasn’t). Then she asked where our luggage was as she thought we were going to a hotel afterwards even though she picked us up from the cruise terminal! Poor start to the tour. She was OK on the tour but didn’t allow much time to browse and shop. Overall, I would not recommend it.
