Nice tour with lots of tasty food and local history explained - Pedro is a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Over 3+ hours we learned about the history of Portugal, the mix of cultures in Lisbon, and ate and/or drank at 6 different places. The food was good and the tour explained the place of each type in the history or culture of the city.

Great introduction to Portugal's history, culture, food and wine - Fabulous tastings. The food was varied, delicious, and prompted so many different aspects of Portugal and Lisbon's history. Raquel was an enthusiastic, friendly guide who answered every question and clearly loves giving tours.

Great experience! - We had a wonderful time on the food tour and our guide Dani was absolutely incredible. She truly made us feel like family and helped us understand the culture & lifestyle of each neighborhood we visited. You get plenty of food along the tour with a lot of variety and every single thing we tried was delicious. Dani also had great recommendations for other restaurants and site seeing spots. You will not be disappointed!

Great tour! - This tour was excellent. Raquel took us to 6 stops where we tasted a variety of delicious food and drink (port, wine beer, coffee). While experiencing this delicious food she shared her knowledge of the culture and neighborhoods we visited on this small group tour. We were away from the tourist areas for much of it. Highly recommend this tour with Taste of Lisboa.

Couldn't be better .... - Perfect meeting spot, and perfect guide, Ricardo. Encyclopedic knowledge of history, food, culture, cod! The 6 stops included: Manteigaria Silva for cheese, bread and HAM. Since 1890. Detailed explanation of this business. Memorable. We went on to eat such good things, and drink them; two types of wine, porto and vinho verde. Not too much walking, but interesting all the way. There were 10 in our group. Just the right size. All food was exceptional. Beer, wine and the liqueur GINGINHA were delicious. Can't say enough.

A++ Tour! - This tour is absolutely amazing! We could tell that this was put on by a smaller, local company compared to the other larger tours going on around us the same day. We got to see 6 awesome spots and basically tried every single local food on our list, all within our first morning in Portugal. We got really lucky and ended up having only two other people on our tour, which I don’t think is typical, but even a larger tour would be spectacular. Our tour guide Daniel was AMAZING! He knew so much about Lisbon and Portugal and taught us a ton about the history and the culture through the food. His maps of the different regions and territories also helped tell a great story and made it really easy to understand.
