Rossio Square - The Rossio Square is actually called Praça Dom Pedro IV and it used to be a Roman Circus two thousand years ago when Lisbon was part of the Roman Empire.
Besides being the starting and ending point, it is a place full of interest: the Portuguese floor, the theatre, the car lights, all this will give very good photos.
A tripod is needed.

Great nighttime photography workshop and photo experience. - Miguel was terrific in taking the time to help me understand how to best use the manual features of my Canon camera for night pictures. I learned techniques related to time exposure, depth of field focus and framing shots that I can immediately start to use for daytime as well as nighttime photography. He was patient, knowledgeable and very helpful during our 3 hours together. I couldn’t have asked for a better photography experience.

Lisbon Photo night tours - In addition to the Lisbon Photo afternoon tour, I suggest doing the Chiado By Night tour. This will give you an alternative perspective that is not possible during the day.
If time allows, the Oriente By Night tour is also highly recommended. You will explore an entirely modern side of Lisbon which contrasts nicely with the classical areas of the city. Particularly intriguing and even magical is the architecture which offers many creative possibilities that, again, are only possible at night.
And with Miguel's highly capable tripod and L-bracket attachment, night shots were effortless and it was very easy to mount (in landscape or portrait) and dismount the camera.
I was happy to leave my tripod at home.
In summary, Lisbon Photo offers nighttime tours that are highly recommended and each provide its own unique experience.

Outstanding night photography photography activity - I took Miguel’s night time photography walk. It was an outstanding experience. Miguel is extremely knowledgeable in his craft. He was very helpful in getting me reacquainted in shooting in manual mode. Not only is Miguel a master photographer, he is also an exceptional teacher. He is easy to talk with and communicates clearly. At the end of the evening, I had captured several photographs that I was very proud of. I would highly recommend this activity to others interested in night photography.

Let Lisbon Photo introduce you to this photogenic city - Miguel is a great photographer, inspiring teacher and an all-around easy going guy to hang out with during your visit to Lisbon, Portugal. I am definitely an amateur photographer and yes, American tourist. Let me say - Miguel was terrific to work with from the initial inquiry to purchase - he was friendly and responsive. During the tour, Miguel made it easy to capture many professional-level shots of this eye-catching city. Lisbon is very photogenic - still there are certain locations to capture her different emotions. Miguel knows her and can introduce you to her in a way that no other person can do. Thanks to Miguel - I have some wonderful memories of my time in this city that I would have never gotten on my own. Highly recommend! - This was my third photo tour with Miguel at Lisbon Photo and, once again, it was a fantastic experience. Miguel showed me great photography spots in Chiado that I never would have found on my own. His enthusiasm for the city and photography made it even more fun. He has an exceptional ability to see the perfect composition and to share expert tips on night photography that will help me long after the tour. The Perfect Photography Tour of Lisbon - Miguel is not only a great guy but an accomplished photographer and did everything to help me ( a professional photographer) shortcut to the absolute best and most picturesque places I needed to be. My needs as a professional were a little more specific than most I think, and Miguel was able to adapt the tour to exactly what I was looking for. He was tireless and completely bilingual and able to turn on a dime when my needs changed. Plus he knew all the best cafes and restaurants of the locals so we avoided the tourist traps. It was an honor to work with him and I look forward to seeing him on my next trip to Lisbon, which I hope will be soon!

Rediscover Lisboa with a camera with a twist, at night. - This year taking “advantage” of the “stay at home vacations” and the fact that Lisbon is so quiet, our small group of friends which are “photo enthusiasts” decided to repeat an experience that we had done a few years ago. Rediscover Lisboa with a camera, but this time with a twist, which was at night. In summary, again no regrets on this 3rd “visit” to Lisboa through the eyes of a lens. Again lots of tips to take advantage of the cameras potential, well even more for night-time photography which was something that for our group was almost unknown.
And if Covid19 rules is a concern for you, we can assure that the guide had a face mask; that hand sanitizer and face masks for guests were available (we had ours, didn’t needed it) and that social distancing was maintained throughout experience without “damaging it”. It was a relaxing time taking pictures and having fun, with a lot of laugh.

A Fanstastic Evening of Photography and Friendship - Miguel is an incredibly talented photographer and Lisbon native. He is passionate about both. We led me on a stunning and beautiful walking tour of Chiado working on a variety of night photography techniques. I have no doubt both novice and highly experienced photographers will not only improve their photography, but enjoy experiencing his love of photography as well the history and culture of his amazing city. I will forever remember his "Yes" as we captured that perfect shot :)
I can't recommend this tour enough and desperately hope I get to walk and shoot with Miguel again. If you have never taken a walking photography tour, I can’t recommend them enough. As an experienced traveller and photographer, I now love these types of tours. I always learn from masters of their trade but also get to experience a city walking with a resident. Miguel’s tour is one of the best I’ve taken in the world!
