  We will navigate the picturesque, age-old neighborhoods of Alfama, Graa and Mouraria with our cameras in hand. We’ll be attentive to our surroundings, taking note of the inhabitants, the structural designs, the interplay of light and weather, and more.

The approach of this photography excursion/workshop is centered on urban/travel photography and the art of visual storytelling. Participants will not only learn to anticipate their shots but also to seek out the underlying story and convey it through their images.

Our open-air classroom will be the stunning locales of Lisbon. We’ll traverse narrow lanes, hidden passageways, and encounter breathtaking scenic overlooks. The journey offers a balanced blend of off-the-beaten-path areas favored by locals and notable tourist spots.

The theme of this photo stroll is street/travel and pictorial narration. You will not only learn to pre-conceive your pictures but also to find the story behind them, effectively portraying it through your lens.
