Fantastic tour - The Kajak tour was definitely one of our highlights during our vacation in Lisbon. The guides are one of the nicest and genuine people we’ve met. We explored wonderful beaches with crystal clear water. The prepared lunch was also ver good. Super fun and an overall great experience, would absolutely recommend.

Fantastic Trip and Great guides - This trip was way better than expected. The guides were really knowledgeable about the area. The equipment was new and in great condition. The food for the picnic lunch they prepared was fantastic! They offered so much food, they really could advertise they provide breakfast, lunch and a snack. They even had a surprise stop planned for the ride back to Lisbon that gives you a little bit of an experience of the real Portugal. One other thing, the guides were really friendly and funny but also expert at their jobs and take your safety very seriously. One of the members in our group had a little trouble and I watched them immediately react and switch to "safety mode" and ensure he was OK and our group was safe. Would 100% recommend this tour.

Highlight of our trip - We booked this tour the night before and was confirmed within an hour. We meet at a local pickup point by Joao and Eduardo and already we could tell we were in for a great day. Was only my husband and I and another couple from the Netherlands. We all got along from the get go, the guys are super fun and made you feel like they were hanging with you for the day rather than working. Was my first experience kayaking and the guys were super patient and helpful. I was in a two person canoe with my husband and the boys had their own with all the equipment and food. Now the footwear was a bit of a hassle because you needed flip flops/thongs to be in and out of the water with sharp rocks/coral but then when you reach the beach you climb up to a viewpoint that requires sturdy shoes. It's rocky and unstable, not actually a track you climbing up a cliff with no barriers. So don't recommend if you are decreased mobility and not safe for kids. If we could do it over we would have worn reef shoes. The boys provide you with a waterproof bag so you can bring belongings like phones etc. Really we left most stuff in the van which we didnt get back to until the end of the day 7 hours later. Eduardo takes photos on his phone of us all and sends them to you on WhatsApp so you don't need to take a camera/phone if you don't want. No use for towels just drip dry and the guys provide some light blankets and umbrellas to sit on the beach with your picnic lunch. The lunch was great, definitely got to try Eduardo's juice and tuna dip that he makes specially for the tour. Fresh fruit, bread, ham, cheese you don't go hungry and can nibble throughout the day. We spent most of the day at the beach, swimming, snorkeling and sun baking. We opted to kayak further around the bays and explore. It was so beautiful and amazing. The downside was the realization that you have to paddle all the way back! Gee it is a struggle we were so exhausted that we slept on the car trip home. The girl with us on the trip said her Fitbit tracked 8kms worth of paddling. My muscles were sore for a few days. All in all was one of the best tours we have done. Definitely not touristy, off the beaten track. Joao sent us dinner recommendations and we messaged him the next night and he replied with google pins and voice messages etc so above and beyond! Be sure to give them a tip afterwards as there hourly rate is nothing close to the work they put in. Thanks for such a great day guys!

Enjoyable activity, unprofessional hosts - The actual kayaking experience and the location was amazing and we loved it. We saw a beautiful cave, a small tiny beach which felt private where we had lunch and relaxed. So I would recommend kayaking as an activity. Though if you are not willing to put in the physical work, this isn’t for you because you need to be somewhat strong/fit for this. Let me now speak about the hosts Joao and Nuno. Joao took us in his van to the location to kayak and I’ve never heard so many offensive things and swear words come out of someone’s mouth. As a customer, you need someone who is at least a little bit professional. He was telling us some really private things about himself that he should not disclose to anyone. We’re from the UK and he went on a rant about how much he doesn’t like British people which is funny when you say it once but when you go on a rant, it starts to become annoying. Joao and Nuno also kept bullying their intern that came along the trip with us which was so weird and uncomfortable for everyone to see. The only time we even learnt anything useful about the history was from the intern when he was talking about the cave we were in. That other guy Nuno, was erratic and annoying. I’m sure there’s some people who think they are cool people but I can speak for most of us there that day, it wasn’t them who made the experience enjoyable, it was the sport itself that made it. P.s. Joao at one point said that “so many indians” come to Portugal to become Uber drivers and come here for the passport - let’s not forget that Portugal colonised parts of India and many other countries first so if people are coming here for a better life, you need to have more respect. Also, don’t say things like that to your customers, it’s just not cool.
