Celebrating 50th wedding anniversary - My husband and I enjoyed the walking tour . Miguel was an excellent host . Very informative. We had been on a day time walking tour the previous day and was glad Miguel covered a different area of Alfama. His English was very clear and his pace was perfect. Dinner was good but itwas a little crowded, however I didn’t see that as an obstacle. The singers had wonderful voices. One complaint is that for a newcomer to Lisbon, I didn’t know the Rossio metro station is NOT the same as the Rossio Train station. That needs to be made clearer in the description of the location.

Better to do by yourself. - Crowded room, poor service, mediocre food. Good music. Very good guide who provided excellent history. It seems aviator doesn’t care for the truth, and won’t publish this. However, being herded like cattle around the town, and then being stuffed into the small restaurant venue is not what we look forward to in ou travel. These experiences used to be more fun and relaxing, and MUCH less commercial.

Just a nice experience - We follow the tour with Miguel, great english speaker but missing someting, during the transfer from the station to the restourant. Maybe also beacuse of the rain. The food was ok. The fado was nice. As a whole not that great for having paid 50€ each.

Fado dinner experience with walking tour - OK we found our guide to be totally unprofessional. He did not give any information about the walking tour. There were two stops. He was asked to explain what we were seeing , and he could not do that. He unaware of the names of the places at which we were looking. he kept the pace up at an untenable speed and never checked to see if anyone was left behind. The music was excellent; the food was mediocre at best. And we were crammed into the space so that you had no elbow room.
