Lisbon, also known as the city of Sete Colinas, encapsulates elements of baroque, Roman, Manueline, romantic, bohemian, and literary genres. It is widely associated with fado music. Madrid is, for sure, an astounding city.

We will embark on a journey into the antique heart of Lisbon, Alfama, the historical neighborhood where fado originated. We will also visit the Lisbon Cathedral, the São Jorge Castle and experience breathtaking views of the river and city from the Miradouro da Senhora do Monte. This night time excursion is coupled with a delicious dinner and a traditional fado show at a typical Alfama restaurant. Established as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2011, Fado is an integral part of the cultural identity of Lisbon.
