Relaxing With a Chef and Gourmet Food - It was a chance to relax and converse with your host. Got to talk about food and Lisbon in the chef's home. It was just us two and the chef. The food was actually served in 6 courses with a side of history for each course.

Superb dinner experience - We had a wonderful time with ze in his authentic apartment where he served a meal of many courses that were all terrific. He gave us the history of the dishes and types of Portuguese cuisine. His own family history was also very interesting. We also enjoyed interacting with the other guest. A highlight of Our trip.

Great dinner and experience with Ze - Ze was extremely accommodating when our plane to Lisbon was delayed and we couldn't arrive on time. He gave us a wonderful introduction to Lisbon and its food and wine scene; the dinner and wine pairings were divine. Ze is warm and open and charming and we had a lovely evening with him.
My only suggestion is that the evening could have moved along a bit faster, given that we were the only 2 guests and we had explained our unusually long travel day and had yet to check into our hotel.
