Excellent experience - The show was great! Small intimate setting with excellent provided tapas- we were pleasantly surprised it exceeded our expectations. The guide was passionately informative. Definitely would book this again. :)

Authentic Fado Experience - Lovely evening and nice music bought on eventbrite. Our guide was a young gentleman Juan and he was awesome. Explained fado history and gave us some insights about the lyrics of songs. The description of event was a bit confusing: no menu no contact number just an address on the square no indication at all. Also the reservation was not confirmed in the restaurant they had no tables for the tickets timeframe. Positive experience just because of the tour guide he saved the day!

Must see!!! - This tour was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Our tour guide, Ricardo, was fantastic! Very warm, friendly and easy going, but was also very punctual, knowledgeable and professional. You could really tell that he was focused on making sure that his guests have the best experience possible by tailoring everything to their needs, he even translated the songs so we could understand the lyrics. The location was amazing and we were seated right in front, so we could get the best views!

Great Fado experience - Had a great time at small Fado place, drinks and food were good, but Ricardo our guide was the best of all. He was nice, helpful, and personable.

Just OKAY - The place was way too small and very crowded. Couldn’t see the singers but they had good voices. Fado is part of Portuguese culture which Juan our tour guide did a good job of explaining its background and history.

Not worth the cost - Seating at the restaurant was very cramped and uncomfortable and hot which made it difficult to focus. Food was not great- cheese was dry like it had been prepared long before we got there although chorizo was good. I would not recommend

Disappointing, too crowded, couldn’t see the singers - We were placed in a side room that was too crowded for the group. The singers did not want to sit Ny there after the first two songs. They sang in the main room and we could hear them but not see them unless we stood up and went into the other room. And that room was crowded too so there was not much space to stand. Overall, very disappointing.

Avoid this tour! - This tour was a total disappointment. We started a half hour late, walked 2 blocks to a “Fado restaurant “, so not a tour. The restaurant sat us in a different room from where the Faso musician’s were performing. We couldn’t hear or see the show, the single class of cheap wine was a 4 oz pour (charged $10 for additional 4 oz pours). The “tapa’s” consisted of a few wedges of stale cheese. And worst of all, our guide knew nothing about the history of Fado, was reading an explanation of it of his phone. I wrote to the tour company asking for a refund and never heard back from them. I was so annoyed/angry I left early. Terrible experience!
