Es magnífico!!! - João was the best guide we could’ve ever ask ! We had an absolute blast despite others in our group not helping out or anything. He was very accommodating and extremely outgoing! Loved the energy and will be back for sure

Best tour ever! - This tour was the highlight of my vacation in Portugal. It felt personal because of João the tour guide. He went above and beyond to make this memorable. Every moment was magical; the caves, kayaking, snorkeling, cliff jumping, the drive from Lisbon, João story telling/ dad’s joke, the food, and interaction with other guests was incredible. Everyone who visits Lisbon should go on this tour, you won’t regret it. Thank you João and beyond adventure for making this experience magical and memorable!!!

Bow chicka wow wow - João was probably the coolest and most fun guide I’ve ever had. He was calm and patient with our group as some were slower than others and we got behind. We loved singing along to songs and just being silly during the day. I’d hang out again just for fun. Will recommend him and this tour to anyone

Great adventure for a day with great value - We had a really great time all day long. Joäo was joking all the time and made us feel comfy. Really energetic person. This is not just a kayaking tour, you will explore so much more like - exploring caves, snorkeling, jumping from a cliffs (the biggest one was 8 meters I believe, scary but totally worth after you jump off the cliff, taking a bus tour through untouched land of nature park. Also, we had 2 meals so you don't have to worry about the food all day long - 1 meal after exploring cliffs and later big lunch at the cost of the ocean. You will be given swimming suit 4mm thick which is more than enough to feel comfy in the water (even at the winter time). Don't be scared to take a tour even if you are not in a season time. Also, big plus is that all day long Joäo will take pictures and video with his GoPro which isn't charged extra. If you like nature this tour is worth every cent.

Amazing experience, I can’t recommend enough! - If you are looking for an adventurous activity to get away from the city, this is the PERFECT tour for you! Joao is an amazing person with a contagious personality who not only makes you laugh but also takes great care of you. The activities he has lined up for you are probably beyond anything you have ever done before, in the best way possible. He brought us to his house to suit up and welcomed us, making it feel like our own home. Then, we headed out for the water activities, including cliff jumping, kayaking, and snorkeling. The scenery and water were beautiful, and the wetsuits kept us warm throughout the day. After that, we went back to the beach for lunch, and the food was incredible—fresh and with lots of homemade dishes. We then drove back to his house to shower off and get snacks, which was the perfect way to end the day. Although there were already a lot of things listed on the website that he provides, he went above and beyond. I cannot recommend this activity enough‘

Amazing adventure! - Although we happened to go out on a day where there we had extremely choppy waves, only occurring half a dozen days in a year, we (parents, 16, 13, and 12 year olds) had an amazing time. It was a trip to remember. We didn’t have the clear waters with the ability to snorkel, but it was definitely still an adventure! Joao’s positive energy made it a remarkable day despite weather that was not entirely ideal.

You won’t be disappointed! - My 2 daughters and I spent a long weekend in Lisbon and decided to take a day out and explore the nearby national park area . From the moment we were collected by Joao, we were in great hands. His energy was infectious ! He brought us to his beautiful home where he has a purpose built house for his clients - beautiful huge kitchen, dressing rooms and shower rooms. Towels and lovely home made blanket robes (thanks to his mums handiwork !) are provided . We snacked on coffee and biscuits , packed the minibus and set off. The activities speak for themselves - all wonderful in their own right. Joao’s father is a marine biologist and he has obviously passed on all his knowledge about sea life and the geology of the coast on to his son- which he in turn passed on to us….. whilst he told us many (sometimes good!!) jokes and played his fabulous playlist(yes- all activities are accompanied by his little waterproof music speaker!). He also took loads of photos and videos of all our activities and he sent them to us afterwards … wonderful to have all the laughter and screams captured for us. After the day of activities we were treated to a picnic on the beach- not just any picnic- this was home made gorgeous food - and local wines. Safety was paramount throughout - we had such great care taken of us . HIGHLY recommend it!

Get ready for an awesome adventure! - There are so many positive things I must say about Joao and the incredible experience he has built for travelers. It’s very obvious that he has put in a lot of time, heart, and effort into planning and ensuring the entire day is fun and that you are extremely well taken care of. There are more things he’s provided than is actually listed on the page! I’m so impressed by the organization, communication, and hospitality he’s shown! He’s constantly joking, laughing, playing great music, showing off his beautiful country, and providing a really fun day for everyone. Truly, his energy is unmatched and I love how he tied in his home town into the experience. It added something really special to the day that was already so so GOOD. If you have any doubts about going, just book the adventure and be ready for an awesome day!! P.S. don’t let the forecast deter you. It was raining in Lisbon all week and even while we were meeting up, but once we drove out of Lisbon it was sunshine and blue skies all day.
