Amble down the petite lanes frequently referred to as the city’s internal hamlet. Alfama is among the limited districts of Lisbon that survived the 1755 earthquake. Beautified with gorgeous ‘azulejos’, the twisting steep lanes of this vicinity unveil stunning vistas of terracotta rooftop seascape and the Tagus River. The scents of traditional Portuguese dishes, the reverberations of Fado music, and the cheerful gossip of elderly locals render this neighborhood undoubtedly one of Lisbon’s most genuine.
We will visit Lisbon’s most iconic spots, like Rossio Square, Dona Maria II Theatre, Sao Domingo’s Church, Figueira Square, Sao Jorge Castle, Portas do Sol viewpoint and Sé Cathedral.
