A very enjoyable tour with José - We did the tour with José and he was brilliant! As he lives in the area himself, he had a very extensive knowledge of the history of Alfama along with really interesting facts and stories which kept everyone well informed. He gave lots of good tips for sightseeing the major attractions during the trip with helpful recommendations of where to eat, etc. He was so enthusiastic! The pace of the tour suited everyone with lots of opportunities to stop especially on the climb up to the viewpoint at the end. A thoroughly enjoyable tour, a lovely way to spend a few hours in beautiful Lisbon.

Good tour with a great guide, Jose. - Jose was great, we had a good understanding of the neighborhood after the tour. He would walk at a good pace and give us breaks since it was mostly uphill. He was also very nice to the locals there.

Best way to get to know Lisbon. - We had a pleasure to attend 3 tours with Hi Lisbon Walking Tours (Alfama, Belem, Baixa-Chiado), one of them with Sarah and 2 with Walter. Both guides were very kind and helpful, had vast knowledge about history of the city. The tours were very absorbing and guides kept us interested for a whole time with useful tips and hints. I strongly recommend tours with Hi Lisbon!
