Limoncocha National Biological Reserve - The adventure begins in the city of Francisco de Orellana Coca.
FIRST DAY - The journey kicks off in Coca at 07:30 with a public motorized canoe ride along the Napo River to the port of Pompeya, taking about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Alternatively, a car departs from Coca Airport at 11:00, also taking 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Upon arrival at the Limoncocha Biological Reserve, registration is completed at the Guardianship. A private canoe will then transport visitors through the lagoon, offering views of birds and monkeys during a 15-minute ride. Accommodations include rooms with private bathrooms, showers, toilets, hand basins, comfortable mattresses, clean sheets, mosquito nets, and balconies overlooking the jungle.
A jungle walk follows, showcasing medicinal plants, insects, amphibians, a variety of ant species, and vibrant butterflies, before returning for lunch. A night walk, lasting approximately 1 hour, is scheduled after dinner.
Limoncocha National Biological Reserve - In the evening, a night walk offers the chance to observe amphibians, moths, insects, night monkeys, and colorful fireflies.
After returning, dinner is served, and rest is encouraged for the next day. The circuit guide can arrange dinner before the walk if preferred.

BIRDWATCHING AND CAIMANS - PIRANHA FISHING
Limoncocha National Biological Reserve - SECOND DAY - At 06:00, before breakfast, a rowing excursion in the lagoon provides opportunities to observe birds, monkeys, and the sunrise, ideal for wildlife viewing.
After breakfast, a walk along the path of the giant Ceibo, scientifically known as “Ceiba Petranta,” one of the largest tree species in the Ecuadorian Amazon, is planned. Sightings may include amphibians, hummingbirds, toucans, monkey species, insects, butterflies, and terrestrial animals like the Amazon deer. While sightings are not guaranteed, the walk lasts 2-3 hours, followed by lunch and rest.
Limoncocha National Biological Reserve - In the afternoon, the caiman route offers wildlife exploration, followed by lagoon sailing and fishing for the notorious Amazonian piranha. The search for the black caiman, one of the largest Amazon species measuring 5-6 meters, scientifically named “Melanosuchus niger,” is also included.
As night falls, the spectacle of fireflies lighting up the dark Amazon night in the Limoncocha Biological Reserve lagoon is a highlight.
YASUNI PARK - TOWER CANOPY - CLAY LICKS PARROT
Yasuni National Park - THIRD DAY - After a 05:30 breakfast, the journey continues from the Limoncocha Biological Reserve to the banks of the Napo River. A motorized canoe ride to Yasuni National Park takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
In the Añangu community area of Yasuni National Park, visitors ascend the Observation Tower, reaching a height of 40 meters. This vantage point offers breathtaking views of the Amazon jungle and the Andes mountains. The visit includes the clay licks of parrots and parakeets, where sightings of colorful parrots, macaws, and possibly wild pigs or collared peccaries are common, weather permitting.
Coca - Lunch is enjoyed in the indigenous community of Pilche, followed by a return to Coca via public canoe, with an estimated 3-hour journey. Arrival is expected between 16:00 and 17:00.
