We’ll discuss the importance of this Main Square, as well as the buildings surrounding it (Presidential Palace, Cathedral etc.).

This Exclusive Small Group Tour is a mix of highlights from our city tour and from our food tour to create the ultimate experience.
The tour starts in the heart of Lima, The Main Square, where you’ll see historic buildings & learn the history behind them!
We’ll head into the spooky catacombs, which are full of old secrets and skeletons. Lima’s Cemetery built in tunnels. After the Church, we’ll go to Muralla Park, where we’ll discuss the Park and the colorful houses located on the hill top.
Now the best part, it’s time to taste Peru! We’ll take you on a food experience through Central Market, see the real Peru & enjoy a range of fresh fruits and local snacks.
Still Hungry? Lets head to China Town, where Asian flavors and Peruvian spices mix. Learn about the Chinese influence in Peru.
Now you’ve got a full belly (I promise) & It’s time to end the tour by going to one of Lima’s best Pisco Bars. We’ll enjoy a Traditional Peruvian Pisco Sour. Lets take some time to sit back & relax.

AMAZING LIMA EXPERIENCE! - My family and I were visiting Lima for the week and booked a tour with Lima Experience to learn more about the city and its culture. We have been lucky to have tours of many cities around the world but this was one of the best! Yoced was a fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge and a great sense of humor that made for an awesome experience. We also loved the structure of the tour: first getting the opportunity to learn some city history through the lens of the main square, convent and catacombs, followed by the cultural immersion in the market. We particularly enjoyed experiencing the Peruvian piqueos (street snacks) while navigating the hustle and bustle. All of that being said, I would HIGHLY recommend this tour. Thank you to Lima Experience and Yoced for an awesome tour!!!

Walking history and food tour! 5⭐️ - This was my second tour with Lima Experience and it was fantastic! (So was the first one) Yoced was a great and passionate guide that took the time explaining the history of Lima with interesting facts. When it came to the food, he showed us not only how to eat the dishes the Peruvian way but also the history and cultural significance of the dishes.
This was a fantastic mix of cultural, history and authentic cuisine. Great experience walking through the busy city and markets with a knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend a tour with Lima Experience and Yoced as a guide.

Lima City and Food Tour - This tour was the perfect way to begin our trip to Peru. It was a well rounded intro to Peruvian history, culture, and food. Yoced is a knowledgeable, funny, and talented guide. We really enjoyed this experience.

The best decision to get to know Lima!!! Without hesitation!! - The best way to get to know Lima and its gastronomy!!
Edwin has been a wonderful guide!! He showed us important places in Lima, including the catacombs, he explained the history of Lima and Peru at each stop in a super interesting way!! And after the historical part… came the gastronomic part!! A real luxury to be able to try so many things in such authentic places with the help of Edwin and Norman, thank you for teaching us to enjoy every corner and every flavor of Lima!!! In addition to having spent a super nice and fun day with them!! We took with us a very special memory of our time in Lima!!!

Food tour/ Catacombs - I had a great tour and learnt a lot about the history of Peru through food and our guides knowledge. The catacombs were really fascinating as well. Great experience overall.

Great tour with very good food and perfect to visit the center of Lima - Exceptional tour! Our guide Edwin was great. He showed us the best typical Peruvian food stalls in the central market. We also tasted typical Peruvian fruits and then visited the center of Lima. Our guide knew how to answer all our questions perfectly and after the visit we were able to enjoy a pisco with him. This tour is highly recommended to see the center of Lima. An authentic experience

Well worth the $50 - Great way to experience street food safely. Joseph was very knowledgeable and very good English. Could have spent more time on cultural buildings tour. Maybe add 30 minutes to the tour

I can not recommend this tour enough. We saw more in this tour than I have in day long tours of cities in the USA. The food was so unique and from places that allow you to truly experience Lima and the cuisine of Peru. Our guide was an 11/10 and I would recommend this tour to anyone

Food + history! By far the best tour we had in lima - It was by far the best tour we did in Lima. We had the opportunity to taste a lot of lovely snacks and a delicious ceviche and Yoced shared a lot of stories and information along the way. In the second portion of the tour, which is the history one and catacombs, Yoced was so entertaining and full of information and made our time incredible (we didn't want the tour to finish, that is how great the tour was!). We 100% recommend to do this, it combines everything you need and the team of Lima experiences were also very attentive and made sure we had a good time

Essential on your first visit to Lima..!!! - Very good experience, a little history, a short tour of the historic center, some snacks or typical dishes, all new to me but very delicious. Great guide and company from Yoced. Recommended on a first visit to Lima
